Digit also noted Dark Cherry at $13,840 and Karat at $13,700 among the wider nine-model lineup. What to check before placing an order
- Confirm the exact configuration and price. Ask Caviar which finish, storage configuration and custom options are included in the quoted amount, and whether the selected edition is still available.
- Decide whether the Ultimate’s camera-free design is workable. Its removed rear camera module and deactivated front camera are functional losses, not cosmetic changes.
- Understand payment and dispatch terms. Caviar’s Karat page says production begins only after full payment; after completion and checking, the phone is packed and dispatched within 1–4 business days. It says international delivery usually takes at least one week, depending on destination. These are seller-published Karat terms; verify that they also apply to the edition and destination you are considering.
- Review warranty coverage and documentation. The Karat page states a one-year company warranty for iPhones and an international certificate of authenticity. These are Caviar’s own representations, not an independent assessment of service or certification.
- Get custom requests confirmed in writing. Caviar lists engraving, logos or initials, design and material changes, added shapes, and custom packaging, with a personal manager assisting during production. Availability may depend on the chosen model and destination.
