Short answer: the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is rated for approximately 90 hours on its integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It charges and transfers data through the included USB-A-to-USB-C cable, and you can keep using it as a wired mouse while connected. Wireless play requires the included LIGHTSPEED USB receiver; Bluetooth is not available. Logitech lists Windows support and optional macOS support through G HUB, while an included POWERPLAY aperture door prepares the mouse for an optional wireless-charging module.
Key specifications at a glance
The headline figures come from Logitech’s regional specification and setup documentation current to 2026. “Approximately 90 hours” is a rated estimate, not a guarantee that every user will obtain the same runtime. Settings, polling behavior, wireless conditions and usage all affect the result.

How long does the Superstrike battery last?
Logitech’s 2026 regional specification rates the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE for approximately 90 hours. The figure describes expected operation on the integrated lithium-ion battery under Logitech’s stated test conditions, but the specification does not establish one universal runtime for every polling rate, lighting state or haptics setting. Treat it as a planning number rather than a fixed countdown.
Why your result can be lower
The mouse’s manual specifically warns that higher Click Haptics strength values consume more power and reduce battery life. A high polling rate can also increase power demand. Heavy daily use, a noisy wireless environment that causes retransmissions, and other enabled features can shorten the interval between charges. If you need maximum endurance, lower the haptics strength first, then review polling and other active features in G HUB.

How to interpret the rating
Battery-hour claims are most useful when compared on equal terms. An alternative rated at a larger number may have been measured at a lower polling rate or with fewer active features. When comparing mice, record the stated polling rate, haptics or lighting settings, connection mode and whether the number is a laboratory estimate or a manufacturer’s regional rating. The Superstrike’s approximately 90-hour figure should not be presented as a guaranteed minimum.
Charging and wired use
Which cable is included?
The package includes a USB-A-to-USB-C cable that serves both charging and data functions. Plug the USB-A end into the computer or another suitable USB power source and the USB-C end into the mouse. Because it carries data, the same cable provides a wired mouse connection rather than merely supplying power.
Can you use it while charging?
Yes. With the cable connected, the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE supports USB wired operation, so you can continue playing or working while the battery replenishes. This is also the fallback if the battery is low, the receiver is unavailable, or wireless interference is affecting play.

How long does a full charge take?
Logitech’s official materials reviewed for this model do not publish an exact full-charge duration. Avoid relying on an internet claim that gives a precise number unless it is confirmed by a current Logitech support document for the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE. You can still use the mouse over USB during the unquantified charging period.
Is wireless charging built in?
The mouse is prepared for Logitech POWERPLAY, but it does not include a wireless charging module or charging mat as part of the standard mouse package. The included aperture door and foot provide the physical interface for a compatible POWERPLAY module. Without that optional accessory, charging is performed through the USB cable.

Wireless, wired and Bluetooth compatibility
LIGHTSPEED wireless
Wireless operation uses Logitech LIGHTSPEED through the supplied USB receiver. The receiver is installed in an extension adapter in the box. Connect that receiver to a compatible USB port, place it where it has a clear path to the mouse when practical, and select the wireless mode according to the setup instructions. The receiver is not a generic Bluetooth dongle; it is the LIGHTSPEED link intended for this mouse.
Bluetooth is not supported
RTINGS’ review, accessed in 2026, reports that the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE lacks Bluetooth connectivity. Consequently, there is no direct Bluetooth pairing process for a laptop, phone or tablet. A device must instead provide a compatible USB port for the LIGHTSPEED receiver, or accept the mouse’s USB cable in wired mode. A USB-C-only computer may need a suitable, standards-compliant adapter or hub for the receiver.
Wired USB mode
USB mode works independently of Bluetooth and can be used for normal input, charging and setup. It is the most straightforward option on a computer where wireless receivers are blocked by policy or where you need to troubleshoot a wireless connection. Keep the supplied cable available because it is both the charging lead and the wired data connection.
Windows and Mac requirements
Windows
Logitech’s regional specification calls for Windows and an available USB 2.0-or-later port. That port can host the LIGHTSPEED receiver for wireless use or the cable for wired use. An internet connection is required to download Logitech G HUB, the utility used for configuration and related device management.
macOS
macOS is listed as optional rather than as an unconditional guarantee across every release. Before buying for a Mac, confirm that the current G HUB version and the mouse’s firmware support your exact macOS version. The hardware still needs a way to connect: a USB port or adapter for the LIGHTSPEED receiver, or a USB connection for wired operation. Because Bluetooth is absent, a Mac with no usable USB path cannot connect wirelessly to this mouse.

What G HUB is used for
G HUB is the software path for device configuration and firmware-related management. Install it from Logitech’s current download channel using an internet-connected computer, then connect the mouse by receiver or cable. If G HUB cannot see the mouse, switch to the cable first; a direct wired connection removes receiver placement and wireless-link variables while you check software and firmware.
POWERPLAY: what the included aperture door does
The box contains a POWERPLAY aperture door with a foot. This part replaces the standard underside door when you add a compatible POWERPLAY charging module. It is an interface component, not a complete charger, and the optional module/system is purchased separately.
When POWERPLAY makes sense
POWERPLAY is intended for people who want to keep the mouse on a compatible charging surface during normal use instead of periodically plugging in the USB cable. It does not change the fact that the mouse has an integrated battery, and it does not add Bluetooth or remove the need for the LIGHTSPEED receiver.
Installing the door
- Turn the mouse off and disconnect the cable or receiver if you are handling the underside.
- Follow the setup guide to remove the standard aperture door without forcing the clips.
- Fit the supplied POWERPLAY aperture door and foot, aligning it with the underside opening.
- Install the compatible POWERPLAY module according to that module’s own instructions.
- Reconnect the receiver or cable and verify charging in the normal operating position.
If you do not own the optional module, leave the original door installed and use USB charging; the mouse remains fully functional.
What comes in the box
- Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE mouse
- LIGHTSPEED receiver installed in an extension adapter
- USB-A-to-USB-C charging/data cable
- Optional grip tape

The list explains why both a receiver and a cable are supplied: the receiver provides LIGHTSPEED wireless operation, while the cable supports charging, wired data and recovery when wireless setup is inconvenient.

Initial setup: a reliable sequence
- Charge or connect first. Attach the USB-C end of the supplied cable to the mouse and the USB-A end to the computer. This lets you use the mouse immediately and gives G HUB a direct data path.
- Install G HUB. On an internet-connected Windows PC, or on a supported Mac, download and install the current Logitech G HUB release.
- Connect the receiver. For wireless use, plug the LIGHTSPEED receiver and its extension adapter into a USB 2.0-or-later port. Keep the receiver reasonably close to the mouse and away from sources of USB or radio interference.
- Check detection and firmware. Open G HUB and confirm that the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE appears. Apply any firmware offered for the exact device, following the on-screen instructions.
- Set power-sensitive options. Configure Click Haptics strength and polling rate to suit your priorities. Higher haptics values use more power, so reduce them if runtime is more important than feedback intensity.
- Test both modes. Disconnect the cable and confirm LIGHTSPEED operation, then reconnect it and confirm wired input and charging. Testing both paths before a gaming session prevents a low-battery surprise.
Troubleshooting battery and connection problems
Runtime is far below the rating
- Check Click Haptics strength in G HUB; the manual identifies higher values as a direct battery drain.
- Review polling-rate and other high-activity settings.
- Use the supplied cable temporarily and observe whether the issue is limited to wireless operation.
- Inspect the USB receiver’s placement and move it closer through the extension adapter if the wireless environment is crowded.
- Update G HUB and mouse firmware when an official update is offered.
The mouse works by cable but not wirelessly
- Confirm that the LIGHTSPEED receiver is connected; the mouse does not use Bluetooth.
- Try another USB 2.0-or-later port and avoid an unpowered or overloaded hub.
- Keep the receiver in its extension adapter and position it with a clear path to the mouse.
- Use G HUB while the mouse is wired to check detection and any available pairing or firmware instructions for the exact model.
G HUB does not detect the mouse
Connect the mouse directly with the USB-A-to-USB-C data cable, close and reopen G HUB, and verify that the operating system meets Logitech’s listed requirements. A direct cable connection distinguishes a software problem from a receiver or radio problem.
Receiver replacement and loss
The official setup guide confirms that a LIGHTSPEED receiver is included, but a guaranteed replacement-receiver pairing path and current regional stock were not established in the available documentation. If the receiver is lost, verify that a listing explicitly identifies the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE receiver and check Logitech’s current G HUB pairing instructions before purchasing. Do not assume that any LIGHTSPEED receiver will automatically pair with this model.
How to compare its battery claim with another mouse
Use a like-for-like checklist rather than ranking the largest hour number. Record the following for each candidate:
- Rated hours and the conditions attached to that rating, including polling rate and enabled features.
- Whether charging is by USB cable, an optional wireless system, or both.
- Available links: proprietary 2.4 GHz, wired USB and Bluetooth.
- Windows and macOS software requirements, including internet access for downloads.
- Whether a receiver is included, replaceable and officially pairable.
- Shape, weight and hand fit, which can matter more than a modest runtime difference.
- Price in your region and whether an optional charging system adds a substantial extra cost.
On those axes, the Superstrike’s defining trade-off is clear: approximately 90 hours of rated battery life, dependable wired fallback, LIGHTSPEED wireless, no Bluetooth, and POWERPLAY readiness only when the optional module is added.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is an exact full-charge time published for the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE?
No. The official materials reviewed do not state a numeric full-charge duration. You can continue using the mouse in wired USB mode while it charges.
Can I connect the Superstrike directly to a phone or tablet?
Not over Bluetooth, because the mouse has no Bluetooth radio. A mobile device would need a compatible USB connection and adapter for the LIGHTSPEED receiver or for the mouse’s USB cable, with operating-system support for the device.
What should I do if I lose the LIGHTSPEED receiver?
Check Logitech’s current support pages for a receiver specifically identified for the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE and follow the model-specific G HUB pairing procedure. Compatibility and regional replacement stock are not guaranteed by the setup guide alone.
