Both are marked 18+; the right choice depends on your budget, available space and favorite character.
LEGO Pokémon Eevee vs. Pikachu: the key differences
LEGO announced both sets for February 27, 2026. The prices below are official US LEGO list prices, not guaranteed retailer prices; check the LEGO US Pokémon shop for current listings.

LEGO’s announcement describes Eevee as over 19 cm tall, 15 cm wide and 21 cm deep, and Pikachu and Poké Ball as over 35 cm tall, 26 cm wide and 39 cm deep. Dimensions and product details come from LEGO’s January 12, 2026 announcement; the US catalog also lists the two prices and features in its Spring 2026 edition.

Which LEGO Pokémon set should you buy?
Choose Eevee if you want a compact character display
- You prefer Eevee or want a single-character figure rather than a multi-part scene.
- You have less space or want to spend less at LEGO’s US list price.
- You like changing a display pose: LEGO describes movable ears, face, feet, legs and tail, and says Eevee can be posed resting or jumping.
- You are interested in the build surprise connected with Eevee’s evolutions.
LEGO’s US Eevee product page also lists movable limbs and head, an adjustable tail and the LEGO Builder app’s Build Together mode.
Choose Pikachu and Poké Ball if you want a centerpiece
- You want Pikachu alongside a recognizable Poké Ball rather than a standalone figure.
- You have space for a substantially larger display and are comfortable with the higher list price.
- You want more than one arrangement: LEGO says the scene can show Pikachu leaping from an open Poké Ball or seated beside a closed one.
- You value the scene’s lightning details and base, which is shaped like a lightning rod and includes a “25” reference to Pikachu’s Pokédex number.
LEGO’s Spring 2026 US catalog says the Pikachu tail can be configured to represent male or female form. These are LEGO-described features, not independent hands-on assessments.

Is the LEGO Pikachu set worth the extra money?
It may be worth the higher price if the larger scale, Poké Ball scene and Pikachu display options are what you want. If your priority is a smaller footprint or lower spend, Eevee is the more direct fit. The official figures establish that Pikachu costs $140 more at LEGO’s US list prices and includes 1,463 more pieces; they do not establish which offers better value for an individual buyer.
Neither piece count nor price tells you how long either model takes to build or how difficult it feels. LEGO’s published material does not provide a comparative build-time estimate, difficulty rating or independent quality evaluation.

Are these LEGO Pokémon sets meant for children to play with?
Both sets carry an 18+ age marking and are presented as adult display builds. LEGO’s Pokémon theme FAQ distinguishes these products from SMART Play sets designed for play, which begin at age six. The two sets in this comparison should not be mistaken for those children’s play sets.
