LEGO positions it as an adult-oriented model, not a children’s set. It contains 587 pieces, but LEGO does not publish a build-time estimate or an official difficulty score in the sources cited here. The finished Eevee is designed for display and poseable play, with approximate dimensions of 19 cm tall, 15 cm wide and 21 cm deep.
What LEGO’s 18+ rating means for kids
LEGO marks set 72151 as 18+. That is the manufacturer’s age guidance for this specific Eevee model; a child’s interest in Pokémon does not change the rating. LEGO also includes a small-parts warning, so keep the pieces away from children who may put them in their mouths, and consider supervision and storage in a household with younger children.

The rating is not an individual assessment of what a particular child can build. It does mean the most accurate answer to whether this is a kids’ set is no: LEGO presents it as an adult-oriented product.
How difficult is the Eevee build?
The set has 587 pieces. That gives a sense of its scale, and the 18+ designation confirms LEGO’s adult positioning, but neither figure establishes how long a build takes or how challenging it will be for a particular builder. LEGO’s official materials cited here do not provide a build-time estimate or a difficulty score. Avoid treating a piece count as a promised duration or as a precise measure of complexity.

How large is the finished model?
LEGO’s January 2026 announcement lists the figure at approximately 19 cm tall, 15 cm wide and 21 cm deep. LEGO’s US retail catalog describes it as standing over 7.5 inches tall. These are useful planning measurements for a shelf or desk; pose changes may affect the space the figure occupies.
Can you pose Eevee, and is it mainly for display?
LEGO describes the set as room decor and says Eevee’s face, ears, feet and legs move, while its tail articulates. The figure can therefore be arranged in poses rather than treated as a fixed statue. The product description also mentions a hidden surprise that highlights Eevee’s potential evolutions, without specifying the reveal in the cited product copy.
