There isn’t one single “LEGO Batman Arkham set.” The name applies to several releases from different eras: set 7785 from 2006, set 70912 from 2017’s The LEGO Batman Movie, and set 76300, an adult-oriented Arkham Asylum model. Their piece counts, minifigure lineups, layouts, and intended uses differ, so the set number is the quickest way to identify which one you mean.
How the three Arkham Asylum sets compare
| Set | Release and style | Pieces | Minifigures | Audience and original U.S. price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7785 Arkham Asylum | 2006; older LEGO Batman-era design | Brickset records 860 pieces; BrickLink records 831 parts for 7785-1, so the catalogs disagree. | 7 (Brickset and BrickLink) | Ages 8–12; $79.99 original U.S. retail price recorded by Brickset. |
| 70912 Arkham Asylum | 2017; The LEGO Batman Movie | 1,628 (LEGO) | LEGO lists 12; Brickset catalogs 13, so the sources disagree. | $149.99 original U.S. retail price recorded by Brickset; LEGO now labels it retired. |
| 76300 Arkham Asylum | Current adult-oriented model | 2,953 (LEGO U.S. product page accessed in 2026) | 16 (LEGO U.S. product page accessed in 2026) | Ages 18+; $299.99 listed by LEGO in the U.S. when accessed in 2026. |
Piece and figure counts are not perfectly comparable across all three: catalog sources conflict on 7785’s pieces and 70912’s figures. The figures above preserve those source differences rather than treating one count as settled.

What makes each set different?
7785: the 2006 release
Set 7785 is the oldest of the three and the smallest by Brickset’s recorded piece count, though BrickLink’s catalog gives a different parts total. Brickset records seven minifigures, an 8–12 age range, and an original U.S. retail price of $79.99. Those historical details describe the set at release; they are not current resale prices.
70912: a movie-based room-and-play set
LEGO identifies 70912 as a The LEGO Batman Movie product and marks it retired. Its 1,628 pieces form a set focused on play spaces: Dr. Harleen Quinzel’s office, a ward office, four cells, an X-ray security scanner, a canteen, a visitors’ room, and a laundry room. It also includes a separate five-story lookout tower and a police car.

Which LEGO Batman Arkham set should you look for?
- For the 2006 release: look for set number 7785. Its catalog records and original retail price are historical references, not evidence of current seller inventory.
- For the movie version with many rooms and play features: look for 70912. LEGO marks it retired, so its availability depends on sellers and may change.
- For an adult-oriented model with modular access and display features: look for 76300. LEGO’s U.S. product page lists its specifications and price, but page availability and pricing can change.
When comparing listings, check the full set number and whether the seller is offering a complete set, loose parts, or a boxed copy. Original retail prices do not establish today’s resale value, and no current resale price is established here.

Why “Arkham set” can be ambiguous
Arkham Asylum is the shared subject, not a single continuous model design. The three sets come from different release eras and have different formats: an older 2006 set, a 2017 movie playset, and an adult-oriented model. Search by 7785, 70912, or 76300 to avoid confusing one version with another.
