On an eligible banner, your pulls can award that event’s medals, credentials, or another exchange currency. You spend those items in the banner’s trading space for a listed unit, ark, equipment piece, or other reward. The exact currency, target and cost change by event, so the live in-game notice—not a remembered crystal number—is the authority.
That distinction matters because a banner can end before you have enough currency, a collaboration can use a separate credential shop, and some guarantees accept only paid crystals. This guide shows how to identify the real guarantee before you spend.
What “pity” means in Last Cloudia
Last Cloudia is a free-to-play iOS and Android RPG with optional in-app purchases. The official site describes it as “Free to play.(In-App Purchases available.) Supported on: iOS/Android.” Its gacha pity is best understood as a banner-linked exchange route, not a single counter that follows your account through every event.
When you pull on a qualifying banner, the result may include that banner’s medals, credentials, trade tickets or another event item. Open the associated trading space and exchange the items for rewards named in that notice. Depending on the event, the shop can include a featured unit, an ark, equipment, awakening materials or a ticket with a restricted pool.

Treat an exchange as valid only when the current notice explicitly connects the banner and the shop.
Is there a universal number of pulls or crystals?
No universal current threshold is established. You should not treat 75,000 crystals—or any other number—as a game-wide guarantee. Every banner can set a different exchange price, step reward, lap limit and eligible lineup.
To calculate the commitment for a specific target, read the banner’s exchange requirement and the currency awarded by each available pull or step:
- Write down the target’s exact exchange cost in medals, credentials or tickets.
- Record how many of that item each normal spin, 10-spin, step and guaranteed reward provides.
- Include free daily spins, login tickets and event tickets only if they can be used before the shop closes.
- Subtract currency you already own that the notice confirms is compatible.
- Continue only if your planned resources can reach the stated exchange cost before the banner and shop expire.
This method gives you the real guarantee for that event without assuming that another banner’s rules carry over.
Banner formats new players will see
Pickup and featured banners
Pickup banners concentrate their rate-up on one or more units or arks. A featured reward may be exchangeable, may be available only through the random pool, or may appear in both places with different conditions. Before pulling, inspect the featured list, rates and the trading-space inventory. “Featured” does not by itself mean “guaranteed at a fixed number of pulls.”
Step-up banners
Step-ups change the rewards and sometimes the rates at each step. The notice normally shows the crystal price, the reward on every step, how many times a sequence can be repeated (laps), and any guaranteed unit, ark or ticket. A step-up can therefore provide a predictable ticket without using a conventional medal exchange—or combine both systems.
Free daily and stock-ticket gachas
Anniversary events have offered free daily 10-spins and gachas that consume stock tickets. These are separate event benefits, with their own pools and expiry dates. Use them before spending premium crystals when the desired reward is in the pool, but do not assume a free spin contributes to another banner’s credentials unless the notice says so.
Paid-crystal guarantee spins
Some events sell a one-time or limited guaranteed spin that accepts paid crystals only. Free crystals in your account cannot substitute for that requirement. Check the crystal type shown on the purchase button and the number of times the offer can be used.

Collaboration banners
Collaborations can create a separate credential currency and trading space for collaboration units, equipment and event rewards. Those credentials are usually tied to the collaboration notice; they should not be treated as ordinary pickup-banner medals without an explicit sharing rule.
Historical examples that show why notices matter
The following published examples illustrate different rule sets. They are event records, not promises about the banner currently visible in your game.

These examples also explain why screenshots or old guides can mislead: a later rerun may alter the credential cost, lineup or available steps.

How to audit a banner before pulling
1. Confirm the target and its pool
Open the banner details and verify that the exact unit or ark you want is listed. Note whether it is rate-up, included only in the general pool, or obtainable only through an exchange ticket. If the name is absent from the lineup or ticket restrictions, the banner cannot deliver that target through that route.
2. Identify the pity currency
Look for the medal, credential, trade ticket or event item awarded by the banner. Different banners can use similar-looking terms, so read the item name and its icon rather than relying on the word “medal.”
3. Open the trading space
Check the shop linked from the banner notice. Record every target you care about and the exact quantity required. Also read whether the shop contains a limited ticket with its own eligibility list instead of the unit itself.
4. Check compatibility and carry-over language
The notice should say whether currency is shared with another banner, remains usable after a banner rotation, transfers to a rerun, or expires. If no sharing or carry-over statement appears, the safe assumption is that the currency is restricted to the named event and may disappear when its shop closes. Never merge balances from two banners just because their icons look alike.
5. Record steps, laps and prices
Write down each step’s crystal cost, its reward, the number of permitted laps and any guaranteed result. A low-cost first step can be attractive while the later steps contain the only meaningful ticket; evaluate the complete sequence you would need, not just the opening price.

6. Separate free and paid crystals
Some notices expressly allow free crystals, as the 2025 anniversary step-up did. Others require paid crystals, as the 2022 limited ark 10-spin did. Keep the two balances conceptually separate when planning, and read the confirmation dialog before authorizing a purchase.
7. Capture the expiry and reset rules
Note the banner end time, the trading-space closing time and any daily reset. A free daily 10-spin that resets at a particular server time can be lost if you wait until the final calendar day. The shop can also close with the banner even when unused credentials remain in your inventory.
How to plan resources around a guarantee
Save for the full exchange, not a hopeful partial run
Limited banners can leave you with a large but unusable balance if you stop short of the exchange cost. Before committing, total the crystals, tickets and guaranteed step rewards you can actually spend during the event. If the result cannot reach the target cost, preserve the resources unless you are comfortable with a non-guaranteed attempt.
Use no-cost attempts first
Spend free daily spins, login tickets and event tickets before premium crystals when their pools contain your target. Confirm their expiry and whether they award the same event currency. A ticket that uses a separate gacha may produce the unit but not the credentials needed in the trading space.

Choose the shop, not the artwork
A banner is a stronger choice when its exchange shop names the exact unit or ark you want and your budget can reach that cost. Attractive artwork, a high advertised rate or a broad pool does not create a guarantee.
Treat collaborations as time-sensitive
Collaboration credentials and equipment are commonly confined to that collaboration’s trading space. If the event notice does not promise a rerun or carry-over, plan as though the exchange ends with the event. This is especially important for a redux, where the credential price or available gear may differ from the original run.
Do not budget duplicate copies automatically
Basic ownership of a unit is a separate question from enhancement, awakening or duplicate-copy systems. Verify the current unit screen and event notice for the materials required for upgrades; do not assume that a pity exchange requires multiple copies unless the game explicitly lists that condition.

Common mistakes and how to recover
Assuming all medals share one counter
Symptom: you expect a balance from one banner to appear in another shop. Fix: compare the full item name and the notice’s compatibility statement. Only the named sharing rule determines whether the balance is valid.
Stopping one step before the ticket
Symptom: the final guaranteed ticket is locked behind a later step or lap. Fix: read the complete step table before starting and calculate the total crystal cost for the required lap count.
Confusing paid and free crystals
Symptom: a guarantee button is unavailable despite having enough crystals. Fix: check whether the banner accepts paid crystals only. A free-crystal step-up and a paid-crystal 10-spin can run in the same anniversary period with different rules.
Waiting past the shop deadline
Symptom: credentials remain but the exchange button has disappeared. Fix: use the trading space before its posted closing time, which may match the banner end or may be a separate deadline. For future events, record both times when you begin pulling.
Relying on an old guide
Symptom: a guide lists a different credential cost, lineup or number of laps. Fix: reopen the current notice after maintenance. Rates, shop inventories and step rewards can change between events and reruns.

A quick decision framework for new players
- Target: Is the exact unit, ark or equipment item in this banner’s pool or trading space?
- Guarantee: What currency or ticket guarantees it, and what is the exchange cost?
- Budget: Can your free crystals, paid crystals and tickets reach that cost before expiry?
- Rules: Are the currency, shop and ticket restricted to this banner or collaboration?
- Timing: Do you have enough time to complete the required steps and spend the currency?
- Alternatives: Are free daily spins, login tickets or another banner offering the same target with a clearer exchange path?
If any answer is unknown, pause at the banner-details screen rather than pulling on assumptions. The notice supplies the information needed to turn a random gacha into a known maximum commitment.
What to recheck after maintenance
Maintenance can change the live configuration even when the banner art looks familiar. Reopen the notice and verify the rate table, featured lineup, step rewards, lap count, exchange inventory, credential cost and expiry time. This final check is particularly important for reruns and collaborations, where a redux can use a different shop or a reduced requirement than the original event.
