Kogan’s original guide documents Android 9.0, Google Assistant, Chromecast built-in and access to apps through Google Play. It also describes Netflix and YouTube remote buttons and mentions Amazon Prime Video. CHOICE’s public listing names Netflix, Stan and YouTube among the smart apps. Is it still available, and what should buyers check?
CHOICE marks the model discontinued. No current retailer or Amazon stock was confirmed in the available listings, so availability and price remain unverified. A used listing or remaining stock, if encountered, should be assessed on its own condition and terms rather than treated as a current standard offer.
CHOICE’s public page identifies a one-year warranty, but that does not establish whether cover applies to a particular used or remaining-stock television, or whether it transfers to a later owner. Confirm the seller’s warranty terms and proof of purchase. For a used set, check that the display, remote, ports, Wi-Fi connection and stand work before committing.

Can you wall-mount this television?
Yes. Kogan’s guide specifies a 400 × 400 mm VESA pattern and a weight of 25.65 kg. Choose a compatible mount whose load rating covers the TV, and confirm that the wall, substrate and fasteners are suitable for that load. If using the stand instead, place the television on a firm surface able to bear its weight. Keep rear ventilation unobstructed.
How to update the firmware safely
Kogan’s RT9210 / RT9220 / RQ9510 firmware instructions explicitly list KALED65RT9210SVA. They warn: “Installing this update on a different model TV from those listed below will negatively affect the performance of your TV.” Use the file and instructions for the exact model, not firmware for a similar-looking television.
- Check the product code on the TV’s rear label and confirm it is KALED65RT9210SVA.
- Format a USB stick as FAT32 on Windows or MS-DOS (FAT) on Mac, following Kogan’s model-specific instructions.
- Copy the update file to the root of the empty USB stick.
- Follow the remaining on-screen or support-page steps for the update, and do not turn the TV off while it is installing.

- Try another HDMI cable.
- Connect the device to a different HDMI port on the TV.
- Test another device with the same cable and port to determine whether the original source is the problem.
- Consider a factory reset only after those checks. Kogan’s guide says a reset erases account information, app data, settings and downloaded apps.
Kogan’s general TV troubleshooting guide also describes a hard-reset sequence: unplug the TV for 10–15 minutes, hold the TV or remote power button for five seconds, reconnect power and turn it on. Kogan cautions that some general guidance may not apply to every television; use the exact model’s instructions where they differ.
