As of that report, Shah’s next role was undisclosed. The available reporting also does not name a successor as Kinnect CCO. There is no basis to infer where he is going or who will take over. The notice-period detail indicates he remained in that transition at the time of the report, but does not establish when his tenure would end.

A June 4, 2026, Campaign Brief Asia report still identified Shah as Kinnect’s CCO while covering leadership changes that included Ankit Banga’s elevation to COO and Gaurav Dudeja’s appointment as CBO. That provides a recent reference for Shah’s role before the October departure report, though it does not address his resignation or name a replacement.
Campaigns and client work
IMPACT associated Shah’s Kinnect work with Flipkart’s “Sa Sa Le Le” and Too Yum to Cheer, reporting that the latter won a Silver at Cannes Lions. It also listed work involving Pepsi’s Adrenaline Rush, Asian Paints, Mumbai Indians and Burger King. The report linked those campaigns and brands to his time at Kinnect but did not provide further award details beyond the Cannes Lions Silver for Too Yum to Cheer.

Kinnect won Burger King India’s creative mandate in May 2026. The reported scope covered brand strategy, creative communication, digital storytelling and culture-led campaigns. In the May 26 report, Shah spoke about the client opportunity as Kinnect CCO: “Burger King is a great opportunity to do great work and make it part of the conversation. What a fun brand to work with.” The comment was made in connection with the mandate, not his later reported resignation.

Is the departure connected to Omnicom’s leadership change?
Omnicom announced on September 9, 2026, that Andrew Robertson would become CEO of Omnicom Advertising after Troy Ruhanen decided to retire. The company framed that transition in the context of integration following the combination of Omnicom and Interpublic. Its announcement does not mention Shah or link the corporate leadership change to his reported resignation from Kinnect. The two developments should therefore be treated as separate unless further reporting establishes a connection.
