The Keychron BM27 is a 55-degree vertical wireless mouse with Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz, and wired connections. Its design may suit people who prefer a more upright grip, but comfort and cursor direction depend on hand fit and how naturally you can guide it. The available independent review calls it a satisfactory work mouse; the evidence does not establish a medical benefit or universal comfort.

A vertical mouse changes how you hold and move the device compared with a conventional flat mouse. Keychron says the BM27’s 55-degree angle is designed to encourage a more upright hand position. That describes the intended posture; it does not prove that the mouse will feel comfortable to every user or prevent or treat wrist pain.
#1 Best Overall
- Vertical Ergonomic Wireless Mouse: Keychron BM27 is a wireless computer mouse featuring a 55° vertical angle that keeps your hand in a natural handshake position, reducing wrist strain during long work sessions. It supports tri-mode connection with 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB wired, and works across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Triple-Mode Connectivity: Connect the BM27 via 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.2, or USB wired mode for low-latency response across your computer, laptop, and tablet. Switch between devices freely and keep your workflow moving without extra setup.
- Reliable Performance Sensor: Equipped with the PAW3212 sensor, the BM27 offers up to 2,400 DPI and 30 IPS for smooth, stable tracking in work and daily use. All buttons feature silent micro switches, delivering quiet clicks with razor-sharp responsiveness — a quiet wireless mouse for focused work.
- Long Battery Life: A built-in 500 mAh rechargeable battery powers the BM27 for up to 100 hours in Bluetooth mode and up to 76 hours in 2.4 GHz mode. Spend more time working and less time worrying about charging.
- Customize Your Controls: Personalize the BM27 in your browser with the Keychron Launcher web app — no software installation needed. Remap buttons, create macros, fine-tune DPI, polling rate, and LOD, or let AI configure settings for you, with 5 on-board memory profiles ready for different apps and computers.
Fit is the central uncertainty. Keychron displays four customer reviews with sharply different reports: one owner praised comfort, quiet clicks, connection, and battery lasting through two work weeks, while others described an uncomfortable angle for moving the cursor naturally, disappointing glide, or a poor fit for larger hands. A reviewer with smaller hands thought the mouse might suit smaller hands better. These are individual anecdotes, not a representative comfort test or a measure of how often problems occur.
What independent testing says—and does not say
RTINGS’ review, dated September 25, 2026 and labeled Methodology v1.5.2, describes the BM27 as a “satisfactory work mouse.” It says the vertical shape may be more comfortable for some users because it reduces forearm pronation and may help limit strain. The wording is conditional, not a guarantee, and the review excerpt available here does not establish a clinical outcome or provide the measurements needed to assess battery runtime, sensor performance, or latency independently. Connections and setup
The BM27 can connect by 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or cable. Keychron’s listed contents include a Type-A receiver and Type-C cable, so the box covers the receiver-based and wired options; Bluetooth avoids using the receiver. Keychron does not state in the cited listing how many Bluetooth devices can be paired at once.

Who should consider the BM27?
- Consider it if you specifically want a vertical mouse, value the choice of Bluetooth, receiver, and wired connection, and are willing to judge comfort by your own hand fit.
- Be cautious if you have larger hands or are sensitive to mouse angle, cursor direction, or glide; the owner reports raise those as possible fit issues, but cannot predict your experience.
- Do not buy it as a medical fix. Neither Keychron’s listing nor the cited independent review establishes that the BM27 prevents or treats wrist pain.
The RTINGS page frames its coverage alongside the Anker Wireless Vertical Mouse, but the available evidence here is not enough to compare the two models’ fit, cursor feel, glide, connectivity, or value fairly.
