To set up a Pinterest tag in Hostinger AI Builder, paste Pinterest’s base tag into the builder’s Integrations > Custom code field, save and update the site, then add the PageVisit event code beneath it and update the site again. You’ll need a Pinterest Business account and access to the site’s editor.

Before you start

  • Create or sign in to a Pinterest Business account.
  • Open the website in Hostinger AI Builder and make sure you can edit and publish it.

The steps below follow Hostinger’s manual-mode instructions. Pinterest’s tag manager and Hostinger’s builder interface may change, so labels can differ slightly from what you see.

Install the Pinterest base tag

  1. In Pinterest, open the tag manager and select Get started.
  2. Enter your website address, select Check, then choose the manual setup option.
  3. Copy the base tag code Pinterest provides.
  4. In Hostinger AI Builder, open your website’s Integrations settings and paste the code into Custom code.
  5. Save the change, then update the website to publish the code to the live site. Hostinger’s publishing instructions explain how builder changes reach the live site.

Add the PageVisit event code

  1. Return to Pinterest’s tag setup and continue to event setup.
  2. Copy the PageVisit event code.
  3. In Hostinger AI Builder, return to the same Integrations > Custom code field and place the PageVisit code beneath the base tag code.
  4. Save the change and update the website again.

Hostinger’s manual guide says its tag tracks page views across website pages and directs users to add PageVisit. That documented workflow does not establish that every Pinterest conversion event is supported in the builder.

Check the installation and allow time for reporting

After publishing, Hostinger recommends waiting a few minutes and checking the site in a private window or preview mode. If the Pinterest reporting view is initially empty, allow for the reporting delay before treating that alone as evidence of a problem. Hostinger says events may take up to 24 hours to appear in Pinterest Analytics; it says Analytics is then updated hourly. These are Hostinger’s stated expectations, not guaranteed timings.

Hostinger’s support instructions conclude, “Your Pinterest tag is now fully set up to track visitors on your website!” That describes completion of the documented steps; it is not an independent verification of a particular site’s installation.
