Family plan $91.99 per year, according to Keeper’s help page updated April 1, 2026. The reviewed price source does not state a member limit. $3.98 per month billed annually, renewing at $47.75 per year, for up to five Premium accounts.

Passkeys and hardware security keys Passkey records are supported in the vault. Keeper’s free-plan comparison lists FIDO2 security keys for the trial, not the free tier. Hardware security keys and passkeys are listed among account two-factor authentication options. Passwordless Unlock is a separate passkey-based unlock feature.
Other documented workflows Keeper documents passkey storage and organization or sharing of passkey records. RoboForm lists password import, form filling, Windows application login, secure sharing, and an integrated TOTP authenticator.

Personal and family plan prices above come from the providers’ own pages, checked October 7, 2026. RoboForm lists both an annual-billed monthly rate and a renewal total; compare that renewal with Keeper’s annual price, not with an unresolved promotional field. Which one should you choose?

Choose RoboForm for a lower renewal cost and a practical free tier

RoboForm’s listed renewal prices are lower for both personal and family use. Its free plan also allows unlimited passwords on one device, which can work if you do not need your vault synchronized across devices. Its Premium feature list is relevant if you want import tools, form filling, Windows application login, secure sharing, or a built-in TOTP authenticator. The vendor describes these features on its RoboForm Premium page.

Choose Keeper if its vault and passkey workflow are worth the higher listed price

Keeper’s paid Unlimited plan may suit someone who wants Keeper’s particular vault workflow and passkey record support. Keeper says passkey availability depends on whether the website or app supports passkeys; its support page lists Android 14+ and iOS 17+ support. These are compatibility details, not a claim that every site or device can use passkeys. See Keeper’s passkey support information.

For a family, compare member limits and renewal totals

RoboForm states that its Family plan covers up to five Premium accounts. Keeper’s reviewed consumer pricing article lists the annual Family price but does not establish a member limit in the material available here. Check the current plan details for both providers before choosing based on household size. On the listed prices, RoboForm Family renews at $47.75 per year and Keeper Family is $91.99 per year.

What the free plans actually allow

The products take different approaches to free access. RoboForm’s pricing page lists unlimited passwords on one device. Keeper offers a 30-day consumer trial, after which its free version is more restricted: one mobile device and 10 records, without unlimited sync, sharing, or browser-extension access. Those limits matter if you rely on browser autofill or expect to move between a phone and computer. Keeper’s feature table is dated July 30, 2026; see Keeper’s free-plan details.

Passkeys, two-factor authentication, and account security

A passkey can serve different purposes: it can replace a password when signing in to a website or app, or it can be used as part of unlocking a password-manager account. Do not treat those as interchangeable features. Keeper documents storing passkey records in its vault, with support contingent on the website or app. RoboForm lists passkeys and hardware security keys among its two-factor authentication options, and separately describes Passwordless Unlock using a locally or remotely stored passkey. Consult RoboForm’s security page and its Premium feature list for the vendor’s descriptions.

A FIDO2 security key is optional, not a prerequisite for using either manager. Keeper’s comparison lists FIDO2 keys for its trial, rather than the free tier; RoboForm lists hardware keys among account two-factor options. Check the current plan and device compatibility if a physical key is part of your setup.

RoboForm says its service uses AES-256 with PBKDF2 SHA256 and that decryption occurs on the user’s device under its zero-knowledge model. Those are RoboForm’s own security claims, not an independent audit. The sources reviewed here are not enough to rank Keeper’s overall security above or below RoboForm’s; a feature checklist or encryption description alone cannot establish which service is safer in practice.

Sharing and everyday workflows

RoboForm’s official pages list import from major browsers, password managers, and CSV; form filling; Windows application login; secure sharing; and an integrated TOTP authenticator. Keeper documents storing, organizing, and sharing passkey records, while its free plan excludes sharing. These descriptions do not establish identical sharing scope or identical coverage across plans, so check the exact plan and workflow you need rather than assuming the features match.

What about small-business use?

Do not choose a personal or family plan for a team simply by multiplying its consumer price. Business deployments have distinct needs: administrator controls, employee provisioning and offboarding, audit requirements, and per-seat pricing. Keeper has separate business products, but the consumer price source cited here does not provide comparable business prices. RoboForm advertises a security dashboard and granular access control on its security page. Compare current business-specific terms and capabilities directly before deciding.

How to make the final choice

  • Pick RoboForm if lower listed renewal prices, a one-device free option, or its documented import and form-filling tools are the deciding factors.
  • Pick Keeper if you prefer Keeper’s vault and passkey-record workflow and accept the higher listed consumer prices.
  • Check the plan, not just the headline price: compare renewal totals, family member limits, device synchronization, browser access, and sharing on the tier you will actually use.
  • For a business: assess team administration and per-seat terms in business plans rather than relying on consumer-plan comparisons.

Prices and feature details in this comparison were checked October 7, 2026. Vendor features and security descriptions are attributed to their providers and are not an independent security assessment.
