Allow for more than the appliance’s listed 31.1 × 55.3 × 47.2 cm footprint. The manufacturer specifies a level, freestanding bench-top position, at least 30 cm of clearance above and at least 20 cm between the microwave and adjacent walls. The rear surface is to be placed against a wall, and the minimum installation height is 85 cm. Keep the intake and outlet vents unobstructed.

The manual is explicit: “The microwave oven should be used free standing only and must not be built-in or used in a cabinet.” If your kitchen plan depends on enclosing the appliance or fitting it into a built-in microwave cavity, the RHMO43 is not suitable for that installation. Before buying, confirm the retailer’s measuring conventions and allow for the manufacturer’s clearances as well as any space needed for access and ventilation. These instructions appear in the RHMO43 instructions and warranty manual.
What should you know about using the turntable?
The manual requires both the glass turntable and its ring assembly to be in place during cooking. Food should go in suitable microwaveable cookware, not directly on the glass tray. Do not operate the microwave if either the glass turntable or ring assembly is cracked or broken; the manual advises contacting customer service.
