That is a dated deal report, not confirmation that the offer is still live: check the current Amazon listing for checkout price, seller, stock, delivery, and Prime eligibility before buying. Tom’s Guide’s deal report said its review of the TV was still in progress.
What the reported $699 deal covers
The offer in Tom’s Guide’s October 6, 2026 report was for the 55-inch Roku Pro Series 4K OLED TV, model 55RAD5. Roku’s product page identifies the 65-inch version separately as model 65RAD5. The deal is for the standard Pro Series OLED, not the Pro Series LX. Roku’s official product page lists the 55-inch model at a regular price of $999.99; that is distinct from the $999 pre-sale figure Tom’s Guide used to calculate the reported $300 discount.

Gaming and connections
Roku lists FreeSync Premium, variable refresh rate (VRR), auto low latency mode (ALLM), and automatic game mode for the standard Pro Series OLED. Its 120Hz specification applies to this model; the up-to-144Hz VRR claim belongs to the separate Pro Series LX, not the TV in the deal.
For connections, Roku specifies four HDMI 2.1 inputs, one with eARC, plus USB-C, USB-A, cable/antenna input, and optical audio output. The listed wireless standard is Wi-Fi 5. Dolby Atmos is also listed. The box includes the TV, power cord, stands, and backlit voice remote.

Apps and content costs
Roku notes that some app content may require paid subscriptions or other payments. App availability varies by country and can change, so the included Roku OS does not mean streaming subscriptions are included with the TV.

At the same reported price, the Roku gives you a larger screen, but the comparison does not establish that it is better overall: the cited article did not provide matching LG measurements for the table’s lab categories, and its Roku review was unfinished. Compare each TV’s live price and full specifications before deciding whether screen size, features, or a particular panel’s performance matters most to you.
