Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Short answer: Browshot documents batch capture, retries, monitoring, and private-server capacity, so it is a plausible option for bulk website screenshots. But its published materials do not establish an independently verified success rate, historical uptime percentage, or formal service-level agreement (SLA). Treat its scale figures as vendor claims, confirm the terms for your account, and pilot your own workload before depending on it.
What Browshot offers for bulk screenshot jobs
Browshot documents two ways to submit multiple captures. For smaller groups, its API endpoint /api/v1/screenshot/multiple accepts up to 10 URLs and 10 browser instances, or as many as 100 URL-instance combinations in one call. For larger URL lists, Browshot describes a separate batch workflow. The API documentation also lists batch creation and batch information endpoints. Browshot API documentation

Multiple endpoint: up to 100 combinations per call
The multiple endpoint is useful when you want to capture a limited set of pages across several browser instances. Its documented ceiling is 10 URLs multiplied by 10 instances; it is not a claim that one request can process an unlimited list.

Batch workflow: large lists and downloadable results
Browshot’s batch walkthrough describes submitting a text or CSV list of URLs, optionally associating filenames, tracking completed and failed items, and downloading result archives or uploading screenshots to S3. It recommends testing with one or two URLs first to verify settings. The walkthrough, published in 2020, says batch size is not limited and recounts a user batch of nearly one million screenshots. Those are vendor statements and an anecdotal customer example, not an independently measured capacity test. Browshot batch walkthrough

How much throughput and latency does Browshot claim?
Browshot’s features page says private servers can handle up to 10,000 screenshot requests per hour per server. It also lists 10 to 100 concurrent screenshots per browser for private instances and 100+ per user for premium browsers. These are vendor-stated figures; the applicable throughput depends on instance type and account configuration, and they do not establish a guarantee for shared or free usage. Ask Browshot to confirm capacity, concurrency, and regional availability for your workload before sizing a production batch. Browshot features and pricing
The same page states an average completion time of 15 seconds including page load, says very slow pages taking more than two minutes are aborted, and says failed screenshots are not charged. These are product claims rather than independent benchmarks. Page complexity, target-site availability, browser settings, and queueing can all affect actual results.

Does Browshot retry failures, and what should a bulk integration track?
Browshot’s 2020 batch article says failed screenshots are retried up to three times. It describes result data that includes a finished or error status and the target HTTP status code. Retries can help with transient failures, but they cannot make a persistently unreachable page or a site that blocks automated browsers succeed.
The API documentation describes status and error responses, completion or failure hooks, cache behavior, browser instances, optional delay and maximum wait settings, and browser interaction options. It also says the simple API may redirect while a screenshot is processing and advises clients to follow HTTP 302 or 307 redirects. A robust client should retain per-item status and error details, follow those redirects, and wait for completion rather than treating an initial response as proof that an image is ready. Slow pages and full-page captures need additional time and storage headroom.

The batch article warns that full-page jobs can produce multi-gigabyte archives and says large downloads are split into 100 MB files. Plan archive storage and download handling accordingly. These workflow details come from the vendor’s 2020 walkthrough and may need confirmation against current service behavior.
What reliability evidence is available—and what is missing?
Browshot’s status page describes redundant services, resource and API monitoring, automatic restarts, and third-party checks of the site and API every minute from different locations. These descriptions show the monitoring and redundancy Browshot says it operates; they are not a published uptime record. The reviewed status page gives no quantified historical uptime percentage or formal SLA. Browshot status page

That evidence supports a capability assessment, not a conclusion that Browshot is independently proven reliable. The materials reviewed also do not establish an independently measured bulk success rate or a workload-specific capacity guarantee. For consequential work, ask Browshot about SLA and support terms, then run representative pilot batches and monitor success rate, latency, retries, HTTP errors, and output integrity across your actual target sites. This is an evaluation method to apply to your workload, not a reported Browshot test.

Browshot’s features page lists free-browser use as limited to 100 screenshots per month and says free browsers are shared, so response times may be slower. It also describes premium credit purchases. On March 4, 2026, Browshot announced ScreenshotCenter as a preview of Browshot 2.0, described a subscription model, and said the existing Browshot v1 API would continue to be supported. The announcement also described 500 screenshots per month for ScreenshotCenter during its launch period. That allowance and the transition details may have changed since publication, so verify current terms before planning around them. Browshot’s March 4, 2026 announcement

Browshot is worth evaluating when you need documented multi-URL submission, a batch workflow, per-item result tracking, or an option to scale with private servers. Its retry and monitoring descriptions are useful operational signals, but they do not substitute for service-level evidence. Before committing, compare the vendor’s confirmed throughput and support terms with your own pilot results, target-page mix, acceptable latency, and cost of failed or delayed work.
Or skip the browser setup
If you would rather call a screenshot API than manage a browser-based capture setup, ScreenshotNeo returns a screenshot or PDF from one GET request. For example, this cURL call saves a WebP capture of Stripe:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for parameters and response details. ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie or consent banners like a visitor and removes 60+ known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each cleanup step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server provides screenshot tools for AI agents, and the free plan includes 1,000 shots per month without a card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots.
