Swappa’s US marketplace page dated October 6, 2026, reported an $820 starting price for the iPhone 17 Pro and average sale prices of $914 for 256GB, $1,043 for 512GB, and $1,059 for 1TB. These are used-market figures, not new retail prices.

- Add the required plan cost over the entire commitment period and include any installment balance.
- Check whether the advertised credit requires a trade-in, new line, or specific plan.
- Use the trade-in value you are likely to receive after inspection, not just the maximum advertised amount.
- Read the rules for cancellation, upgrade, and what happens to credits if you leave early.
What changed about availability?
Tom’s Guide reports that Apple removed the iPhone 17 Pro from its lineup after the iPhone 18 Pro release. Availability may therefore depend on remaining retailer or carrier stock. Before paying, confirm that the exact storage and condition are in stock and review the seller’s warranty and return terms.

For an India offer, keep the components separate: the listed price, any card discount, and the exchange estimate. The exchange amount may depend on inspection and eligibility, so do not subtract it as guaranteed savings until the retailer confirms the value for your device.

How to decide whether a price is a good deal
- Match the market and currency: compare US offers with US offers, or India offers with India offers, and account for taxes where applicable.
- Match storage and condition: compare the same capacity and distinguish new, used, and refurbished phones.
- Confirm seller and phone status: check whether the device is unlocked or carrier-specific, and verify who sells it and whether it is in stock.
- Calculate the full cost: include installments, required plan charges, trade-in terms, and any conditions attached to discounts or bill credits.
- Check the protections: review warranty coverage, returns, and what happens if the phone does not match the listing.
- For a price-history claim, make sure the tracker follows the same listing and configuration you are considering; a tracker’s recorded low is not an all-retailer record.
