Revenue more than tripled from the same period in 2025, while the loss widened. DayOne has applied to list American depositary shares on Nasdaq under the proposed ticker DODC; its October 6 announcement said the offering’s size and price range were not yet set.
What DayOne does
DayOne describes itself as a digital infrastructure platform and data-center operator serving hyperscale and technology customers. In its prospectus, the company says it has secured 4.6 gigawatts (GW) of resources across ten markets and has approximately 2.3 GW of bookings, primarily from seven global hyperscale and leading technology customers. These are company-reported operating measures defined in the filing, not independently audited market totals.

The filing says some of DayOne’s market-position and data-center information draws on a July 30, 2026 report commissioned from Structure Research. That disclosed source informs certain market estimates; it should not be read as independent validation of every claim in the prospectus.
DayOne’s first-half 2026 revenue and loss
For the six months ended June 30, 2026, DayOne reported US$512.024 million in consolidated revenue, up from US$151.500 million in the comparable 2025 period. Its consolidated net loss was US$77.209 million, compared with US$12.573 million a year earlier.

The comparison uses the same six-month period and accounting measures in both years. DayOne’s filing also reports US$81.886 million of net loss attributable to ordinary shareholders for the 2026 period. That is a different measure from the consolidated net loss shown above.
What is known about the proposed IPO
DayOne filed a Form F-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on October 5, 2026. The company announced the filing the following day. The proposed security is American depositary shares (ADSs) representing ordinary shares, with an intended listing on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under DODC. A proposed ticker does not mean trading has begun.

DayOne identified Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, BofA Securities and Citigroup as underwriters. In its October 6 announcement, the company said: “The number of ADSs to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.” The announcement therefore provides no final share count, offer price, valuation or proceeds target.

Why the loss widened
The reported results establish that the consolidated net loss grew substantially alongside revenue, but the figures alone do not explain the causes. DayOne’s filing is the appropriate place to examine its expense breakdown, financing costs and other disclosed factors; the headline revenue and loss comparison should not be treated as a complete account of the company’s financial performance.

What to watch next
The F-1 is a registration filing, not confirmation that the offering has priced or that the ADSs have started trading. IPO terms can change as registration materials are amended. Readers following the proposed listing should look for later SEC filings and issuer announcements for any updated offer size, price range or listing status. For a fuller assessment of the business, the prospectus’s disclosures about capital needs, debt, customer and geographic concentration, and the definitions of resources and bookings matter alongside revenue growth.
