Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe iPhone 16 is the smaller option, with Apple’s iOS ecosystem; the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro offers a much larger, high-refresh display, a periscope camera and faster wired charging on paper. There is no reliable single price difference: the figures available are from different listings and markets, so compare the same country, storage tier, seller and date before deciding.
At a glance: what separates the two phones?
The most immediate difference is size. Gadgets Now lists the iPhone 16 with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display and the Phone (4a) Pro with a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel. TechRadar specifies the Nothing display at 144Hz and 2,800 × 1,260 resolution. The iPhone is the more compact choice; the Nothing is designed for a larger viewing area and smoother refresh rate. Gadgets Now’s comparison and TechRadar’s review specifications provide these figures.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the iPhone 16 if compact size and iOS matter most
Its 6.1-inch display is substantially smaller than the Nothing’s 6.83-inch panel, which may suit buyers who prefer a less expansive screen. The listed A18 chip and iOS 18 also make it the more natural candidate for someone who specifically wants Apple’s software ecosystem. These are feature-based reasons to consider it, not evidence that it outperforms the Nothing in every task.
Consider the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro for screen size and camera reach
The larger AMOLED screen and 144Hz refresh rate favor someone who values a broad, fluid display. Its rear-camera configuration adds a dedicated periscope camera alongside main and ultrawide cameras, giving it more listed focal-length options. More megapixels do not prove better photos, and the available specifications do not establish a controlled, direct image-quality winner against the iPhone.

Weigh charging figures against actual battery life
The published capacities are 5,080mAh for Nothing and 3,561mAh for iPhone 16; the listed charging rates are 50W wired for Nothing and 20W fast charging for iPhone. These are specifications from separate sources, not results from a common battery or charging test. They do not establish how long either phone lasts in your use, and the Nothing listing specifies no wireless charging.
What is the price difference?
There is no defensible worldwide price gap in the available listings: one set of figures is for India, while Nothing’s official product page shows a US price. Even within India, the iPhone listings differ materially. The amounts below are displayed prices reported by the named pages, not guaranteed current checkout prices; offers, storage variants, sellers and availability can change.

- Titanium frame combines strength and lightness, giving the iPhone 16 Pro a premium feel while reducing weight for prolonged daily use. The polished edges and textured back enhance grip and handling, making it easier to use during long calls, gaming sessions, or when capturing photos and videos on the move.

| India — Gadgets Now, accessed 2026 | ₹69,900 offer price | ₹45,985 offer price; ₹49,999 list price | Displayed offer/list figures; the comparison does not establish a matching seller and storage tier for a like-for-like price calculation. |
| India — 91mobiles | ₹86,900 | ₹46,949 | Displayed listing amounts; the page’s figures differ from Gadgets Now, especially for iPhone 16. |
| United States — Nothing official store | Not stated on this Nothing product page | $419, with $499 shown as the struck-through prior/list amount for 8GB/128GB | Nothing’s live US page price for the stated configuration; it is not a price for other regions or a guarantee of future availability. |

How do the operating systems and update promises compare?
The comparison sources list iOS 18 for iPhone 16 and Android 16/Nothing OS 4.1 for the Phone (4a) Pro. A version listed by a comparison or review is a snapshot, not a promise that every device will remain on that version. Buyers should consider the apps and services they rely on, their familiarity with each platform, and whether they prefer Apple’s or Nothing’s ecosystem.

Availability and launch timing

Which one is better?
There is no universal winner established by these specifications. Choose based on the trade-off that matters most to you: the iPhone 16’s smaller display and iOS, or the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro’s larger 144Hz screen, additional periscope camera and higher listed wired charging rate. TechRadar recommends the Nothing as a mid-range handset while noting that flagship power and camera quality remain stronger; that is its reviewer’s assessment, not a direct iPhone 16 comparison. For camera quality, speed in your own apps and battery endurance, these spec sheets alone are not a substitute for matched testing.
