Recruiting was added later; it was not part of the stated 12-week deployment.
What Interact implemented in 12 weeks
Workday describes Interact as a UK-headquartered employee-experience and enterprise intranet company. Its announcement says Interact supports more than 1,500 organisations across Europe, the United States and Asia, and has a 250-person workforce. Those company figures are reported by Workday, not presented as independently audited statistics.

The initial Workday GO deployment covered Workday HCM and Absence Management. Workday names Albida as the implementation partner. The announcement does not say that Recruiting, Learning or Global Payroll were included in that 12-week period.
Why Interact chose Workday GO
Workday says Interact had struggled with an inflexible legacy HR system. Custom fields were blocked, small changes required formal requests, and performance reviews relied on emailed, password-protected spreadsheets. Interact selected Workday GO for its preconfigured best practices, defined implementation scope and option to add capabilities over time.

What was added after go-live
Workday says Interact added Workday Recruiting after the initial HCM and Absence Management deployment. Interact plans to add Learning and then Global Payroll, but Workday’s announcement gives no dates for either planned step.
Outcomes Workday reports
Workday says the deployment connected employee and organisational data with Interact’s employee-experience platform, gave executives access to workforce insights and improved talent visibility. It also says Workday was connected to an internal asset-management tool to automate joiner, mover and leaver access workflows.
These are outcomes described by Workday in its press release, not independently quantified impact measures. The announcement does not report savings, productivity figures or a measured return on investment.

How to interpret the 12-week timeline
Interact’s 12 weeks is a reported customer deployment timeline for HCM and Absence Management, not a universal Workday GO commitment. Other Workday materials use different timing statements and should be read according to their own package and scope:
| Workday material | Published timing | Scope and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Workday Launch Now datasheet | “Go live in 10–16 weeks” | Packages for HR, Finance, and HR & Finance; described as designed for small and midsize businesses. Datasheet publication date is not stated in the available source. |
| Workday GO product page | Activation in “as few as 18 weeks” | Describes an AI-led deployment approach. Page publication date is not stated in the available source. |
| Interact customer announcement | 12 weeks | Workday HCM and Absence Management at Interact, implemented with Albida; announced September 29, 2026. |
The timelines describe different Workday materials and, in Interact’s case, a specific customer scope. Workday’s Launch Now datasheet also describes a preconfigured scope and post-go-live Adoption Planner and Expert Assist support. The separate GO product page’s timing statement should not be combined with the datasheet’s range as if they were one fixed estimate.
What prospective buyers can—and cannot—take from the case
The example shows that one organisation reported deploying two specified modules in 12 weeks with a named partner, then adding Recruiting later. It is not enough information to forecast another organisation’s schedule. Workday’s announcement does not detail Interact’s internal staffing, data-migration volume, testing gates, change-management workload or the integrations beyond the named asset-management connection.
When comparing implementation timelines, check the module scope, package or product version, geography, partner involvement, and whether capabilities were live initially or introduced later. Treat a customer case as a reference point rather than a reproducible benchmark unless those conditions are comparable.
Statements from Interact and Workday
Interact CTO Dan Wardin said: “Workday offered the depth of customisation, integration, and features we needed to keep growing without outgrowing the system again in a year or two.” Workday attributed the quotation to Wardin in its September 29, 2026 announcement.
Workday’s Ben Carter said: “For organisations moving fast, the question is not only how quickly they can modernise operations, but whether the foundation they choose can keep pace with what comes next,” according to the same announcement.
