The Infinix Note 50s 5G+ is easiest to recommend to India-market buyers who want a vivid, curved AMOLED display and smooth everyday performance in a relatively light phone. Its 6.78-inch, up-to-144Hz screen is the standout; weaker low-light photos, no expandable storage, and gaming that varies by title and heat are the main compromises. At a price near its original ₹15,000–₹18,000 launch range, it makes a stronger case than it does above ₹20,000.

What makes the Note 50s 5G+ appealing?
A high-refresh AMOLED screen for the money
The display is the clearest reason to consider this phone. Reviewers describe rich AMOLED contrast and color, and the curved edges give the screen a more immersive presentation for video and scrolling. The refresh rate reaches 144Hz, though the maximum is not a promise that every app or game will run at that rate. The trade-off is practical: 91mobiles and Smartprix found the glossy curved surface could catch distracting reflections in bright surroundings.
Lightweight design and capable everyday speed
At 180g by Infinix’s specification, the phone is relatively light for its size. Hands-on reviews describe it as comfortable to hold, and 91mobiles reports that a color-matched TPU case is included. The Dimensity 7300 Ultimate was found smooth for routine use and multitasking. That supports a recommendation for everyday apps, messaging, streaming, and casual play—not a claim of flagship-class speed.

Useful daylight photos and a large battery
91mobiles found the main camera capable of sharp daylight images with balanced exposure and useful detail, although colors can look more vibrant than true to life. The 5,500mAh battery is a substantial capacity on paper, and reviewers reported getting through a day in their own routines. Battery results are not uniform: 91mobiles described endurance as fairly average against rivals, so capacity alone does not establish best-in-class runtime.
Where the compromises matter
Low-light photography is the clearest camera weakness
Both 91mobiles and Smartprix reported problems in low light, including washed-out or hazy results, lens flare, and difficulty controlling bright light sources. If night scenes, indoor photography, or consistent camera performance are priorities, this is a reason to compare alternatives rather than relying on the daylight results.

Gaming results depend on conditions
91mobiles reports game-specific results at tested settings, including support for 90fps in some cases, and notes lag associated with outdoor heat. iTechGuides also cautions that results depend on the game, settings, firmware, and temperature. Treat 90fps as a title- and configuration-specific possibility, not a universal setting or sustained-performance guarantee.

Some familiar extras are missing

Is the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ worth buying?
It is a good fit if your priorities are a curved, vivid AMOLED display, a light-feeling design, smooth routine performance, and respectable daylight photos—and you can buy it near its original launch range. It is less compelling as the price climbs: iTechGuides advises caution above ₹20,000, where newer options may reduce its value advantage.
