To run a 24/7 YouTube story channel with prerecorded Marathi episodes, create a live stream in YouTube Studio, send a prepared episode feed from an encoder using YouTube’s stream URL and key, and monitor the live output. Plan the schedule around YouTube’s archive limit: streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, so a single uninterrupted 24-hour session is not a reliable way to create a complete replay.
Before you start: check channel access and prepare the episodes
YouTube’s stated prerequisites are a verified channel and no live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days. See YouTube live streaming tips. Prepare the episode files or playlist you intend to play, and decide whether your priority is a continuous live channel, replayable sessions, or separately published episodes.

Choose an encoder appropriate to your production. YouTube supports software and hardware encoders, and says expensive equipment is not required to get started. Software can be enough to play a prepared feed; dedicated hardware is an option for a different production setup, not a prerequisite. YouTube’s encoder overview is at Streaming tips.

- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go live. Create a stream now, or use the Manage tab to schedule one. Scheduling can create a watch page in advance and lets viewers set reminders. Follow Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
- In Live Control Room, copy the stream URL and stream key into the corresponding fields in your encoder. Treat the key like a password: it authorizes the encoder to send video to your channel. Do not share it publicly.
- Load the prerecorded episode or playlist as the encoder’s video source. Configure the encoder for your production and check its preview in Live Control Room before starting the broadcast. YouTube’s available stream settings are described in Manage live stream settings.
- Start the encoder, then confirm that Live Control Room is receiving the feed and that the public watch page plays the expected picture and sound. Keep an eye on the stream while it runs; YouTube recommends testing the setup ahead of time and monitoring audio and video.
Choose a session plan that preserves replays
YouTube automatically archives streams that run for less than 12 hours. A 24/7 operation should therefore plan session boundaries rather than assume one day-long stream will produce a complete replay. If viewers need dependable replay access, publish the individual Marathi episodes or compilations separately as videos as well as scheduling live sessions. That gives viewers direct episode navigation instead of requiring them to find a moment in a long live archive.

For continuous availability, decide how the next session starts and who will respond if the encoder or connection fails. YouTube’s live-streaming guidance recommends monitoring the broadcast and testing failover when a setup has a backup encoder; it does not establish a particular reliability or cost advantage for one setup over another. Clear rights for stories, performances, images and music
You are responsible for having the rights needed to use the content in the live stream, including music, and for complying with applicable laws and regulations. Confirm that permissions cover the intended territory and any archive or replay, not just the original recording. This applies to story text, narration and performances, artwork, photographs, background music, and other incorporated material. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions set out the creator’s obligations.
Understand monetization and originality rules
Eligible channels may be able to earn through live ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, or memberships, but eligibility and policy compliance are required. Ads are not guaranteed to appear for every viewer or at every opportunity. Details are in Monetize your live stream.

YouTube’s channel monetization policies apply to live streams and the channel as a whole. A recurring Marathi story format can be consistent, but episodes should have distinct substance rather than being repetitive or mass-produced, and the channel should make the creator’s role in producing them clear. Review YouTube channel monetization policies before building a channel around a large episode library.

Troubleshoot common setup problems
You cannot start a live stream
Check that the channel is verified and has had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Those are YouTube’s stated prerequisites; resolve an eligibility or restriction issue in YouTube before troubleshooting the encoder.

Confirm that the encoder is using the stream URL and key from the intended Live Control Room stream, and that the encoder has actually started sending its feed. If you scheduled a stream, make sure you are working with the scheduled event you intend to broadcast.
The preview has no sound or the wrong picture
Check the selected video source and audio source in the encoder, then review the Live Control Room preview before going live. YouTube recommends testing and previewing the setup ahead of time.

The live archive does not contain the whole 24-hour run
Do not rely on one uninterrupted stream to create a complete replay. YouTube automatically archives streams under 12 hours; plan session boundaries and publish episodes or compilations separately when replay access matters.
The stream stops after an encoder or network failure
Monitor the feed and establish a recovery procedure before launch. If you use a backup encoder, test failover in advance; YouTube’s guidance recommends testing such setups rather than assuming a backup will work.
