The iGarden K70’s headline seven-hour runtime applies to floor-only cleaning, not a full-pool cycle. iGarden’s Australia listing specifies 3.75 hours for full coverage, so the key buying question is whether that shorter mode suits your pool and routine. Its advertised wall and waterline cleaning, suction and coverage figures are manufacturer claims; no independent K70 performance test is established here.
What the iGarden K70 is—and what its runtime means
The K70 is a cordless robotic pool cleaner in iGarden’s K Series. iGarden’s US listing describes cleaning for the floor, walls, waterline and slopes, with S-Path navigation, suction rated at 22,000+ LPH, a 4 L basket, and up to 7,233 square feet of coverage. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independently verified results. iGarden’s US K70 listing provides the product details.

Runtime depends on the selected mode. The Australian product page gives these figures:

|---|---|
| Floor only | Up to 7 hours |
| Full coverage | 3.75 hours |
| Turbo, floor only | 3.25 hours |
| Turbo, full coverage | 2.75 hours |
These are iGarden’s Australia specifications; they should not be read as independently measured cycle durations or as a guarantee for every pool. The same page lists a maximum pool length of 6 × 12 m. It also gives a 7.5 Ah (192 Wh) battery and approximately five hours to charge. See iGarden’s Australian K70 specifications.

This design helps reduce manual filter cleaning by up to 50%, while the 7-hour runtime supports efficient pool maintenance for longer cleaning sessions.
Can the K70 handle the cleaning you need?
For long floor-only cycles
The seven-hour figure may appeal if your main need is extended floor cleaning between manual sessions. It does not establish how much debris the robot will collect in a particular pool, how consistently it navigates, or how much cleaning time your pool requires. Pool shape, debris, and the selected mode matter; the available specifications do not quantify those real-world outcomes.
For walls and waterline
iGarden says the K70 cleans walls and the waterline as well as the floor and slopes. Its listed full-coverage runtime is 3.75 hours, substantially shorter than the floor-only maximum. There is no independent evidence here confirming wall-climbing reliability, waterline performance, or coverage in different pool configurations. Treat these as advertised capabilities rather than proven results.

Its smartphone-grade full-screen touch interface puts intuitive control at your fingertips—select modes, adjust settings, and start cleaning with ease, either on the touchscreen or via the app. Note: App connection works only on land, as the signal is lost underwater.
- Dual-Mode Filtration for Every Pool Condition: Standard Mode (180μm) captures leaves, hair, twigs & coarse sand—handling 95% of daily cleaning. Pro Mode adds 50μm Fine Filter for fine sand, pet dander & microalgae—trapping what standard filters miss. Upgraded dual-layer (180μm+50μm) features a 4L basket capturing coarse & fine debris, cutting filter cleaning by 50%. Pro Tip: Use dual-layer for fine debris in Floor Only mode; on walls, switch to 180μm—fine mesh clogs easily, reducing climbing.
Pool fit and surface compatibility
iGarden’s FAQ says the K Series supports round, rectangular, kidney-shaped and irregular pools; in-ground and above-ground installations; and concrete, vinyl, fiberglass, mosaic tile and stainless-steel surfaces. That is the manufacturer’s compatibility statement, not a guarantee for every pool design or finish. Check the product documentation and local listing against your pool’s dimensions and configuration before buying. iGarden’s K Series FAQ.
How the K70 compares within the K Series
iGarden’s comparison presents the K70 as the longer-runtime middle model, with the K90 offering both more runtime and shorter listed charging time. These figures and positioning come from iGarden, not an independent comparison.

Setup and routine care
Connect before putting it in the pool
- Before the cleaner enters the water, use its control panel or the app to complete setup if you need app connectivity.
- Connect using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. iGarden says the K Series cannot connect to the app while underwater.
These connection instructions are from iGarden’s FAQ.

- All-Terrain Cleaning for Steps & Slopes: Dual drive motors, high-traction rubber tracks, and an active scrubbing brush provide the grip needed to move across drains, slopes, and pool steps. The all-terrain drive system helps the KN40 maintain stable movement across different pool surfaces and reduces the risk of getting stuck. Compatible with saltwater pools up to 5,000 ppm (0.5% salinity)
Clean the basket after each use
- Remove and empty the filter basket.
- Rinse it with a hose or tap.
- Close the basket and reinstall it.
iGarden instructs owners to perform this cleaning after every use. Follow the product manual for any additional maintenance steps.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThe battery is not a user-replaceable part
iGarden says the K Series battery is sealed inside a glued waterproof enclosure, cannot be removed or replaced by the owner, and is not sold separately. That makes battery service and long-term ownership worth considering before purchase; do not assume you can buy a replacement battery when the original ages. iGarden’s K Series battery support information.

Price and regional availability
At access on October 5, 2026, iGarden’s US store displayed the K70 at USD $749 against a stated original price of USD $1,249. The Australian listing displayed AUD $1,599 against AUD $1,999 as part of an offer described as running October 1–19. These are regional, time-sensitive store prices, not directly comparable amounts; local stock, tax, warranty, return terms and final checkout price may differ. US listing · Australia listing.
What this review can—and cannot—establish
The detailed specifications available for the K70 come from iGarden’s product, support and comparison pages. The US product page includes variant-associated and neighboring-model copy that does not always align cleanly with its K70 headline, so the Australia listing is the clearer source for mode-by-mode runtime. iGarden’s comparison is also manufacturer-authored.
No independent K70 test is established for actual cleaning duration, debris pickup, noise, navigation reliability, wall or waterline coverage, or battery aging. The K70’s long floor-only runtime and advertised multi-surface cleaning are relevant specifications, but they do not by themselves show how well it will clean a specific pool. For a purchase decision, verify your pool dimensions, the mode you expect to use, regional terms and current availability, and weigh the non-replaceable battery against the convenience of a cordless cleaner.
