Flashbulb (Q): guide the flash, then swing
Flashbulb is described as a guided flash. Hush can steer it around a corner, wait for the detonation, and swing while an opponent is affected. On attack, communicate the intended swing before guiding the flash. A teammate who is already holding the trade angle makes the flash more valuable than a solo peek after the detonation.
Displacement (E): pull a defender out of position
Displacement pulls defenders away from their current position. The guide specifically describes collision threats, including pulling an opponent into a wall, and says the ability refreshes every two kills. That refresh condition encourages Hush to look for a first isolated fight that can fund another piece of pressure later in the round.

Suspension (X): lift opponents for an execute or retake
Suspension lifts opponents over a plant or choke. The guide frames it as a coordination tool for an execute or retake rather than a button to press in isolation. Its value comes from temporarily changing vertical positioning while teammates take the newly exposed space.

Deny predictable anchors
Clear or hold common Flow landing points before Hush can use them. A defender does not need to chase Hush across the map; making the likely off-angle unsafe can turn Flow into a desperate escape instead of a free reposition. Utility that checks a landing spot is valuable even when it does not damage her, because it removes the surprise associated with the anchor.
Do not stack against walls
Displacement is most threatening when a defender is isolated near a collision surface or when several teammates are packed into a narrow lane. Keep enough spacing from walls and from one another to reduce the chance that a pull produces a guaranteed follow-up. Maintain crossfires rather than standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the same corner.
Pressure her while she is steering
Guiding Flashbulb and lining up a pull require attention and time. Swing, spam, or use quick denial utility while Hush is occupied if the angle allows it. The objective is not necessarily to kill her immediately; forcing an early cancel, miss, or retreat prevents the clean flash-into-pull sequence.
Trade together
Hush’s payoff rises when the first flash or pull creates an isolated duel. A coordinated two-player swing reduces that payoff: if Hush wins the first contact, the second player should be close enough to trade, and if she misses the setup, both defenders can remain alive to retake space.
Prefer long or awkward sightlines when possible

An anchor that is safe on paper may be pre-aimed in a real round. Vary the destination, ask a teammate to clear it, and avoid repeating the same landing after every entry.
Pulling the wrong target
Displacement should remove an anchor, isolate a defender, or open a plant path. Pulling a player who is already unsupported may waste the opportunity while the real threat remains. Recon should inform the choice.
Saving Suspension for a solo highlight
The documented use case is a coordinated execute or retake. Announce the plant, choke, or retake timing so teammates are ready to occupy the space created by the lift.
Hush is not the Steam game HUSH
VALORANT’s Hush is an agent. Steam also lists HUSH, a separate 1–8-player co-op survival-horror game by A.M. Studio planned for Q3 2026.
