Halo Fest 2026 dates, venues and confirmed hours
Halo Fest is a three-day event with two distinct parts: a concert and a convention. Treat the concert date and convention dates separately when planning your viewing or travel.
| Program | Date | Location | Published hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| Halo Fest Concert | Friday, December 11, 2026 | Benaroya Hall, Seattle | 7:00–9:30 p.m. Pacific Time |
| Halo Fest Convention | Saturday, December 12, 2026 | Seattle Convention Center | VIP doors 9:30 a.m.; general admission doors 10:00 a.m.; closes 8:00 p.m. |
| Halo Fest Convention | Sunday, December 13, 2026 | Seattle Convention Center | VIP doors 9:30 a.m.; general admission doors 10:00 a.m.; closes 7:30 p.m. |
The hours above come from the current official recap. They describe the event and venue day, not a promise that every activity will be streamed. Session-level start times, room assignments and any online feeds can change as the event approaches.

Where to watch the HCS Invitational online
The official announcement says every HCS Invitational group-play and bracket-stage match will be broadcast on all three of these destinations:
- twitch.tv/hcs
- twitch.tv/hcs_red
- The official HCS YouTube channel
Use any one of the three. They are parallel official destinations for the Invitational rather than separate competitions. If one player or stream has a technical problem, the other official channel may still be available.
What the Invitational includes
The HCS Invitational has eight invited teams and a $150,000 prize pool. Its group-play and bracket-stage matches are the portion of Halo Fest for which a complete broadcast commitment has been published. The event also includes open competitions with a combined $50,000 prize pool across multiple Halo games.
Recommended Free Tools
The announced prize figures are event totals, not a promise of an individual player’s payout. Team names, match order and exact start times can be updated, so check the current HCS or Halo Waypoint announcement before setting reminders.
How to open the streams
- Open one of the two official Twitch addresses or the HCS YouTube channel.
- On Twitch, follow the channel and enable a live notification if you want an alert when the broadcast starts. On YouTube, use the channel’s notification control for the same purpose.
- On the event day, verify that the stream title identifies the HCS Invitational and the correct stage, group or bracket round.
- If the stream is offline, check the other official destination and the latest Halo Waypoint update before assuming the match was canceled.
What is and is not confirmed for online viewing
It is important not to treat every activity at the Seattle venues as an esports broadcast. The published plan confirms the three HCS Invitational outlets, but it does not provide one complete broadcast grid for the concert, every Main Stage segment, the Community Stage, panels or GDQ speedruns.
| Program type | What is established | Where to check |
|---|---|---|
| HCS Invitational group play | All matches are scheduled for HCS YouTube, Twitch HCS and Twitch HCS Red. | Official HCS channels and the newest Halo Waypoint update |
| HCS Invitational bracket stage | All matches are scheduled for the same three outlets. | Official HCS channels and the newest Halo Waypoint update |
| Open competitions | Competitions are part of the event and share a combined $50,000 prize pool, but a complete stream-by-stream grid is not published. | Latest Halo Fest schedule and app |
| Concert | Scheduled for 7:00–9:30 p.m. Pacific on December 11 at Benaroya Hall; an online feed is not confirmed in the current recap. | Latest Halo Waypoint announcement |
| Main Stage and Community Stage | Broadcast programming is expected to be announced later; the current recap does not list a complete feed schedule. | Latest Halo Waypoint update and mobile app |
| Panels, community programming and GDQ speedruns | These are listed as event programming, but individual online availability and times are schedule-dependent. | Latest Halo Fest schedule and mobile app |
This distinction prevents a common mistake: finding a venue session on the schedule does not automatically mean that session has a public livestream. Look for a specific broadcast destination in the latest official update.
How to find the official Halo Fest schedule
Halo Waypoint is the authoritative place to watch for Halo Fest announcements and revisions. Start with the Halo Fest section and select the newest update, rather than relying on reposts, old screenshots or fan-maintained calendars. The October 2026 recap links the announcement, competition, artist, venue and contest posts and describes what the app will carry.
- Go to the Halo Fest section of Halo Waypoint.
- Sort or scan for the most recent Halo Fest update. Check its publication date before using any times.
- Read the update’s links for venue, competition and artist information. A linked post may contain a newer detail than an older overview.
- Compare the listed day, time and program name with the mobile app once the app schedule is available.
- On a broadcast day, check the latest update again for a last-minute room, start-time or streaming change.
Use the Halo Fest mobile app for the detailed plan
The planned Halo Fest app is intended to provide more operational detail than a single announcement page. Its stated features include the full floor plan, the full event schedule, personal schedule customization and timed meet-and-greet registration.
After installing or opening the app, look for the schedule view and filter by date, stage or activity. Add sessions to a personal plan only after checking their day and venue. Use the floor plan to allow for movement between rooms; a schedule entry is not the same as a guaranteed livestream link.
If you need a meet-and-greet, use the app’s timed registration feature when it becomes active. Registration windows can fill independently of the public schedule, so do not assume that adding a session to your personal plan reserves a place.
Reading Halo Fest times correctly
The published concert time, 7:00–9:30 p.m., is Pacific Time. The convention door and closing times are also Seattle local time. Viewers outside the Pacific time zone should convert these times before setting alarms, and should recheck the listing if the event page changes.
- Friday, December 11: concert begins at 7:00 p.m. Pacific and is scheduled to end at 9:30 p.m. Pacific.
- Saturday, December 12: VIP entry begins at 9:30 a.m.; general admission entry begins at 10:00 a.m.; convention programming ends at 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday, December 13: VIP entry begins at 9:30 a.m.; general admission entry begins at 10:00 a.m.; convention programming ends at 7:30 p.m.
Those are venue operating times. An individual esports match can begin later, finish earlier or run long, so use the live channel listing for the current match order instead of treating the convention closing time as a broadcast end time.

Planning around the event’s two viewing modes
Watching remotely
Remote viewers need only an internet connection and access to an official HCS destination for the Invitational. Follow the channels in advance, sign in if you want notifications, and open the stream a few minutes before the listed start. Keep Halo Waypoint available in another browser tab or on a phone so you can check changes without leaving the player.
For non-esports content, wait for a schedule entry that explicitly identifies an online feed. If no feed is named, the safest assumption is that the item is venue programming only until an official update says otherwise.
Attending in Seattle
Venue access and online access are different. The concert is at Benaroya Hall on December 11; the convention is at the Seattle Convention Center on December 12–13. VIP and general-admission door times apply to the convention days, not automatically to the concert.

Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Ticketing, team-pass timing and other access details can change. Confirm current ticket information on the latest official Halo Waypoint pages before traveling, and do not use a livestream link as proof that you have entry to an in-person session.
Keeping up with schedule changes
Halo Fest programming is still subject to updates as the event approaches. Invited-team information, match order, broadcast programming, ticket details and session timing can all be revised. Use a simple verification routine:
- Check the date of the Halo Waypoint post you are reading.
- Prefer the newest recap or announcement over an undated repost.
- Confirm the program name, day, Pacific-time start and stated destination.
- Look in the mobile app for room, floor-plan and personalized-schedule changes.
- On the day, verify the live channel title and the event’s latest notice before joining a long viewing session.
Fan calendars can be useful for discovering discussion, but they should not replace the official update when two times conflict.
Common problems and fixes
There is no live video at the listed time
First check whether the item is an HCS Invitational match. Only the Invitational’s group and bracket matches have a confirmed three-channel broadcast commitment in the current announcement. If it is a panel, concert, speedrun or stage segment, consult the newest Halo Waypoint update and app for a later broadcast notice.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →One Twitch channel is unavailable
Try the other official Twitch channel or the HCS YouTube channel. The announcement names all three as broadcast destinations for Invitational matches, so a problem at one destination does not by itself show that the match was canceled.
The schedule time conflicts with a repost
Use the newest Halo Waypoint update and then compare it with the mobile app. Reposts may preserve an earlier version of the schedule. Keep the time zone attached to every note you make: the published hours are Pacific Time.
You cannot find a concert livestream
The current official recap confirms the concert’s Benaroya Hall location and 7:00–9:30 p.m. Pacific hours, but does not confirm an online concert feed. Do not substitute an unofficial restream for an official broadcast. Check Halo Waypoint for a later announcement.
A quick Halo Fest viewing checklist
- Save twitch.tv/hcs and twitch.tv/hcs_red.
- Find the official HCS YouTube channel and enable notifications if desired.
- Bookmark the Halo Fest section of Halo Waypoint.
- Install or open the Halo Fest app when its schedule is available.
- Record the concert as December 11 and the convention as December 12–13.
- Convert the published Pacific times to your own time zone.
- For each non-esports session, verify that an online destination is explicitly listed.
- Recheck the newest official update before the broadcast or trip.
Official information to trust first
Halo Waypoint is the primary update source for the event. The HCS esports hub is the official home for HCS news and events and provides links to official videos and related event information. For the Invitational itself, the three broadcast destinations named above are the authoritative places to watch.
