To see Google Search results for another country, change the search region in Google’s Search settings, then run your query and record the region, language filter, device, and capture time. To save the page, use Chrome’s Print → Save as PDF or More → More tools → Save page as. Changing region is different from changing result language, and a saved page records what appeared during that capture—not a universal or permanent set of results.
Change Google’s search region on desktop
- Open Google Search settings.
- Under Region Settings, choose the country or region whose results you want to view, then save.
- Run your query. Record the exact query and selected region, along with the date and time, device, and browser.
Google says results are customized to the current region. The region control may not be available in some locations. See Google’s instructions to see results for a different country.

Change the search region in the Google app on Android
- Open the Google app and tap your profile picture or initial.
- Tap Settings → Language & region → Search region.
- Choose the region, then search. Note the selected region and capture conditions alongside your results.
If the region you want is missing, Google says the feature is not available for that location.

The search region and language controls do different jobs. A display-language setting changes interface text and may inform Google’s choice of results, but it does not restrict every result to that language. Google considers signals such as the query’s language, content helpfulness, Search display language, device language preferences, and location when selecting result languages. For background, see Google’s explanation of how Google determines the language of search results.

To explicitly filter web results by language on desktop, open a results page and select Tools → Any language, then choose the Results Language Filter option you want. It may not appear when English is the only selected language. The filter can apply multiple selected languages together; it does not produce separate results for each language in one selection. Some Search features are outside its reach, and Google may not be able to classify the language of some pages. See Google’s Results Language Filter help.
For a country comparison, keep the query and language filter fixed while changing the region. For a language comparison, keep the region fixed and change only the language filter. Record each selection rather than assuming that location or interface language tells you which settings were active.

Why a country-code Google domain is not enough
Typing a country-code Google domain is not a reliable way to switch the country service. Google’s October 2017 explanation said that country services had become location-driven and that users should select another country service in Search settings; entering its country-code domain would no longer switch users to that service. Use the current region setting and verify it instead. The historical post also quoted Google Product Manager Evelyn Kao: “In order to provide this optimal experience, your location determines the country service you receive results for across Google Search and Maps.” That describes Google’s explanation in 2017, not a current measurement. The post’s “around one in five searches” location statistic is likewise from 2017, not a current figure. Read the dated post, Giving you more control over your searches, in that historical context.

Save a web-page copy
- In Chrome, select More → More tools → Save page as.
- Choose a location and save the page.
- Keep a note or companion filename with the query, region, language filter, device, browser, and capture time.
See Chrome’s instructions for saving a page in Chrome. Neither the print nor save help page guarantees that every dynamic Search feature will be preserved exactly as it appeared.
Make country comparisons interpretable
- Use the same exact query, device or app, language filter, and capture method for each country view.
- Change only the region when testing country differences; change only the language filter when testing language differences.
- Record date and time, since the settings do not guarantee identical results on each run.
- Label saved files with region, language filter, query, and date. A PDF or page copy is evidence of what rendered at capture time, not proof that results are universal, stable, or identical for another person.
Or skip the browser setup
For a screenshot file instead of a manual browser capture, ScreenshotNeo accepts a URL in one GET request. For example, this cURL call captures the Google results URL you provide; set that URL to the exact query page you opened with the target region and filter.
