To verify a JUST (JST) burn, first confirm the canonical TRC20 contract—TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9. In TRONSCAN, open the JST token page, choose Transfers, and find a successful transfer whose recipient exactly matches the burn address published for that specific JUST or JustLend round. Open the transaction, check its contract, event data, amount, block and status, then compare the on-chain total with the announced burn figure.
What proves that JST was burned?
A burn is not established by a press release, a token ticker, or a wallet label alone. The practical evidence is a successful TRC20 Transfer made with the official JST contract, sending tokens to the burn recipient named in the applicable official disclosure. A transaction hash lets anyone open the same record in TRONSCAN and check the result independently.

The contract check comes first because token symbols are not unique. An unrelated token can use “JST” in its name or ticker. The canonical contract identified by TRONSCAN support is TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9. Treat a transfer as relevant to a JUST burn only when the contract address in the record matches that address.
Before you start
- Have the official JUST or JustLend announcement for the burn round, including its date, stated amount and burn-recipient address.
- Know the approximate execution window. The announcement date and the block timestamp can differ.
- Use the full recipient address from the disclosure. A shortened explorer label is not sufficient for an identity check.
- Record the canonical contract address separately from the burn-recipient address. They serve different purposes: one identifies the token; the other identifies where the tokens were sent.
Step-by-step: verify a JST burn in TRONSCAN
1. Resolve the official JST contract
Search TRONSCAN for the exact contract TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9, or confirm it against the TRONSCAN support listing and the relevant official JUST or JustLend documentation. Check every character. Do not select a result merely because its ticker says JST.

Once the token page is open, confirm that the page identifies the token as JST and that its contract field contains the same address. Save the contract page or its address as part of your evidence record.
2. Open the token’s Transfers view
On the JST TRC20 token page, select Transfers. This view lists token movements, rather than only transactions involving a particular wallet. It is the right starting point for finding a burn transfer when you know the round’s date or amount.
Use the disclosure’s date window and announced amount to narrow the candidates. If the explorer provides sorting or pagination, inspect the relevant block-time range instead of assuming that the newest row is the burn.

Find a JST transfer whose recipient exactly equals the burn address published for that round. Compare the complete address, not just its first and last characters. There is no single recipient address established for every historical and current JST round, so the applicable official disclosure controls this comparison.
Also check the sender. The sender can help you reconcile the transaction with the mechanism described by the announcement, but the decisive identity checks are the canonical JST contract, the disclosed recipient, the amount and the successful transaction status.

4. Open the transaction detail
Open the candidate row’s transaction hash. In the transaction detail, verify all of the following:
- Status: the transaction is successful, not failed, reverted or otherwise unsuccessful.
- Token contract: the transfer uses
TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9. - Token: the asset is JST, not TRX or another token.
- Recipient: the full address is the one disclosed for the burn round.
- Amount: the displayed JST quantity agrees with the transfer event and is interpreted using the token decimals shown by TRONSCAN.
- Block and time: save the block number and block timestamp so the execution can be distinguished from the announcement date.
Copy the transaction hash exactly. It is the stable identifier another reader can use to reopen the record.
5. Confirm the TRC20 Transfer event
Use the transaction’s contract, event or token-transfer section to inspect the underlying TRC20 Transfer event. The event should show the same sender, recipient and token amount as the summary row. If TRONSCAN exposes a contract-call or internal-event trail, use it to reconcile the visible transfer with the event-level record.
This check helps catch errors caused by reading the wrong token row, a failed contract call, or a summary that combines several internal actions. The event amount must be read with the JST decimals displayed by the explorer; do not manually add or remove decimal places based on a different token’s convention.
6. Reconcile the amount with the published round
Compare the verified transfer amount with the round total stated by JUST or JustLend. If the announcement describes one transaction, the figures should correspond after applying the displayed token decimals. If the round used multiple transfers, identify every qualifying transfer to the disclosed recipient, add their JST amounts and compare the sum with the published total.

Keep any difference visible. A mismatch may reflect several transactions, a difference between the disclosure date and execution date, or a disclosure-versus-on-chain reconciliation issue. Do not silently round the blockchain amount or treat an approximate press-release figure as an exact transaction value.

7. Save an audit record
For each verified transfer, archive the transaction hash, the TRONSCAN transaction or token-page location, block number, block time, sender, recipient, JST amount, canonical contract address and the official disclosure used for the comparison. Screenshots or exported rows can preserve what you saw, while the hash allows an independent recheck later.
Include the date you accessed the records. Explorer interfaces can change their labels or pagination, but the hash, block and event data remain the core evidence.

These figures are comparison targets, not substitutes for transaction evidence. A published total can represent more than one transfer, while a transfer can execute on a different date from the announcement. Round 4 is not included here because the cited material does not establish a corresponding figure.
How the burn mechanism is described
JustLend DAO documentation says eligible protocol revenue and JUST ecosystem revenue are used to buy back JST on the open market, after which the purchased tokens are sent to a burn address and permanently removed from circulation. On-chain verification tests the final, observable part of that process: the JST transfer to the disclosed recipient.

TRONSCAN can show that tokens moved to an address, but the explorer alone cannot establish the economic source of the funds or replace the project’s disclosure about how a round was financed. Use the disclosure for the round’s context and TRONSCAN for the contract, transfer, status, amount and timing.

TRX can be destroyed as part of the TRON network’s fee process. That native-network activity is separate from a JST token burn. A transaction may involve TRX fees while also transferring JST, but fee destruction is not evidence that JST was removed from circulation.
To classify an event as a JST burn, verify the token symbol and the JST contract in the transfer record, then verify the disclosed recipient. Never count a TRX fee or a TRX burn amount in the JST round total.
What to do when records appear to disagree
The ticker matches but the contract does not
Reject the record for this purpose. Return to the token page and search for TCFLL5dx5ZJdKnWuesXxi1VPwjLVmWZZy9. A matching ticker without a matching contract is not proof that the transfer involved JUST’s JST.

Do not infer that two addresses are equivalent from a shortened display. Copy the full address from the official round disclosure and compare it character by character with the transaction’s recipient. Because recipient addresses can vary by round, use the disclosure that applies to the transaction’s date and announcement.
The transaction failed
A failed or reverted transaction is not a completed burn. Look for a successful transfer that meets the same contract, recipient and amount criteria. If the announcement names a single hash, open that hash directly and report its status rather than treating an attempted call as a completed removal.
The amount does not equal the announcement
First check token decimals and whether the displayed amount is rounded. Next search the surrounding block-time window for additional JST transfers to the same disclosed recipient. Add only qualifying successful transfers. If the sum still differs, record the difference and identify it as an unresolved reconciliation issue; do not alter the on-chain values to force a match.
The dates do not line up
Keep both dates: the disclosure date and the block timestamp. An announcement can describe a planned or completed round while the blockchain execution occurs later, and a transaction can be mined before a notice is published. Date differences alone do not disprove a burn, but they should be documented.
The transfer page and event trail show different values
Inspect the raw event data and token decimals, then check whether the page is summarizing multiple internal actions. The canonical event-level Transfer record is the basis for the amount comparison. If the discrepancy remains, preserve both views and describe precisely what each displays.
A compact verification checklist

- Candidate falls within the relevant date and amount window.
- Recipient exactly matches the burn address in the applicable official disclosure.

- All qualifying transfers are summed when a round uses more than one transaction.
- JST amounts are kept separate from TRX network-fee burning.
- Any difference between the announcement and the chain is reported, not rounded away.
What a defensible conclusion looks like
A strong verification statement identifies the token contract, transaction hash, successful status, block, sender, disclosed recipient and JST amount, then explains how that amount compares with the relevant round total. It should state whether one transaction or several were counted and distinguish the disclosure date from execution time.
For example, the evidence can support a conclusion that a successful transfer of the canonical JST token reached the burn recipient named for a particular round. It should not claim that every JST ever sent to an address was part of that round unless the official disclosure and the transaction records establish that connection.
