Samsung currently states that a point is worth $0.005 at Samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung app—so 1,000 points are about $5 off an eligible purchase—but points are not cash, and the value can change. Check the discount Samsung actually offers at checkout before redeeming.
What are Samsung Rewards points worth?
Samsung’s US support FAQ states that one point is worth $0.005 on Samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung app. At that stated rate, 2,000 points correspond to an estimated $10 discount, and 10,000 points to an estimated $50 discount. These are checkout-value estimates, not cash-out amounts: Samsung says points cannot be exchanged for cash, and their value may change. The eligible discount displayed during checkout is the practical amount to use when deciding.

How to redeem Samsung Rewards points
- Sign in to the Samsung account associated with your points. Check the balance and transaction history in My Rewards, the Shop Samsung app, or Samsung Members.
- Review the points’ expiration dates, starting with the oldest. Samsung says redeemed points are deducted oldest first.
- Add an eligible product or service to your cart on Samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung app.
- At checkout, select the Rewards option and inspect the points amount and dollar discount Samsung displays. You may be able to apply all or part of your eligible balance.
- Compare the final total after other offers and your chosen payment method. Redeem only if using points improves a purchase you already want.

What points cannot pay for
Samsung’s terms say points cannot be applied to shipping, taxes, or other fees. They also cannot reduce the product purchase price when Samsung Financing is selected. Account for those exclusions when comparing the checkout total; the point discount does not reduce every charge in the order.

Where else might you use points?
Samsung’s US Rewards overview lists possible redemption destinations beyond Samsung.com purchases, including Galaxy Store apps, Samsung Art Store, and Samsung Food+. These options may depend on current availability and what appears for your account. The overview does not establish that these redemptions are consistently better or worse value than a shopping-cart discount.

When do Samsung points expire?
Samsung says earned points expire after 36 calendar months, through the last day of the month in which they were earned. For example, points earned in a given month remain valid through the final day of that month three years later. Samsung deducts the oldest points first when you redeem, which helps preserve newer points for longer. Check your account’s transaction history for the dates relevant to your balance.

Use points when the checkout shows a worthwhile reduction on something you already intended to buy, or when an available service redemption is genuinely useful to you. Before confirming, compare the total with and without points after other promotions, and check whether your payment method or the item’s restrictions affect eligibility. If a balance is small and no attractive eligible use is available, spending more just to avoid losing points can cost more than the points are worth.

What happens if you cancel or return an order?
Samsung’s terms say points used on an eligible purchase are returned after cancellation or after Samsung confirms a satisfactory return, subject to the terms’ process. Consult the terms for the conditions that apply to your order: Samsung Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.
Who can use the US program?
Samsung’s US terms describe eligibility for qualifying residents of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands who meet the stated age and Samsung Account requirements.
