What is included in Card V05?
Colorlib’s listing, dated September 2026, describes three color tints, including a dark card. Each card combines a fictional company mark, a star rating with a text alternative, an italic serif quote, and the reviewer’s initials, name, and role. The sample companies and testimonials are fictional; replace them with material you have permission to publish rather than presenting the examples as customer endorsements. Colorlib lists the download at 201 KB and identifies itself as the author.

The markup uses figure, blockquote, and figcaption to associate the quote with its attribution. A decorative oversized quotation mark is kept out of the reading order, and the star rating is given a text label. These are useful patterns to preserve if you adapt the template. Does Card V05 need Bootstrap 5 or jQuery?
No, according to Colorlib: the download is plain HTML and CSS, with no need to load Bootstrap or jQuery, and the listing says the template itself needs no JavaScript. The publisher also says it can be used on its own or in Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects. This means “Bootstrap” in the template’s name does not necessarily mean Bootstrap is a dependency. If you add it to an existing site, test the supplied markup and styles with that site’s actual Bootstrap version and CSS; class-name conflicts and layout differences can still occur.

How do I arrange the cards responsively?
When using Bootstrap, place cards in grid columns or use responsive row-cols-* classes to control how many appear across at different viewport sizes. Bootstrap cards have no fixed width by default: they expand to the width available in their parent. For a standalone V05 page, use the template’s CSS and adapt its container and breakpoints to your layout rather than loading Bootstrap solely for the card. How do I make Bootstrap cards the same height?
For a Bootstrap 5.3 grid, add .h-100 to each card in the row so it fills the height of its column. Bootstrap also documents card groups for attached, equal-height cards, and the Sass variable $card-height can be set to 100% when that should be the default. These are Bootstrap layout techniques; if you use V05 without Bootstrap, implement equivalent height behavior in your own CSS and check how longer quotes affect the result.

How can I change the colors to match my brand?
Customize the template’s CSS color values for the card backgrounds, text, stars, and accents. Check text contrast after changing colors, and do not use color alone to convey a rating or other meaning: keep a readable label for the stars and clear text for the review. The decorative quote mark should remain decorative rather than substituting for the actual quotation. Bootstrap’s accessibility guidance emphasizes that accessibility depends substantially on the author’s markup, styling, and scripts; a component does not make a page accessible or WCAG-conformant by itself. Can I use Card V05 in commercial projects?
The Card V05 listing states a CC BY 3.0 license. Colorlib’s roundup says its own card templates are free for personal and commercial projects when the credit link is kept. Confirm the attribution terms on the listing and preserve the required credit when using or modifying the template, including for client work. Do not apply these terms to unrelated examples in the roundup: its CodePen designs belong to their respective authors and have their own licenses. When is V05 a good fit?
Choose V05 when the page needs a compact testimonial or customer-quote treatment and you want to adapt its visual style. It is not a profile, pricing, product, or blog card set. If you need a Bootstrap-native layout, use Bootstrap’s own card and grid documentation; if you need a different component type, select a template built for that content rather than forcing testimonials into the wrong role.
