To use Adobe Express for business, set up a shared brand kit, turn approved designs into reusable templates, define who can edit and publish, then create and review content before scheduling it. Adobe Express supports business content such as social posts, ads, videos, presentations and pitch decks; those are Adobe’s product descriptions, not evidence of guaranteed time savings or business results.
1. Prepare your brand assets and create a brand kit
Before opening the setup flow, gather the approved versions of your logo, brand colors, fonts and reusable graphics. Confirm which assets and type choices staff should use so the shared kit starts with current, authorized materials.

- From the Adobe Express home page, select Brands, then Create brand > Manual setup.
- Enter a brand name, choose where to save it, and create the brand.
- Add the approved logos, colors, fonts and graphics.
Adobe also documents an image-upload route that can extract brand elements such as palettes, fonts and logos. Review any extracted elements against your approved assets before relying on them. See Adobe’s instructions for creating brands in Express.

2. Convert approved designs into reusable templates
Templates help a team reuse a campaign layout without rebuilding it for each post, flyer or presentation. Adobe’s brand restriction controls for templates are available on Teams and Enterprise plans.
#1 Best Overall
- Open an approved design in the Express editor, select Share, then Convert to template.
- Set the template name and project location. Add collaborator instructions when people need guidance on what to change.
- In template settings, choose which layers are locked and whether collaborators may unlock them.
- Use the Style controls to limit colors, fonts, editing options and replacement image locations.
- Save the template and share it or its project with the intended collaborators.
Lock elements that should remain consistent, such as a logo or legal footer; leave changeable content, such as a campaign headline or image, editable. This is a governance choice, not a guarantee that every resulting design will comply with brand standards. Adobe explains the workflow in its template creation guidance.
3. Decide who owns assets and controls templates
Set responsibilities before inviting a broad group: name the people who maintain brand assets, create or edit templates, review work, and publish social posts. This avoids giving every contributor more access than their role requires.
Rank #2
Adobe’s Enterprise documentation describes role capabilities for template creation and editing, and for social publishing. An administrator can assign template responsibilities to designated managers and restrict those capabilities for ordinary members. A role does not override project permissions: someone without edit access to a project cannot edit it merely because they hold a particular role. See Adobe’s Enterprise roles documentation.
4. Create content and review it before use
Start recurring work from the approved template rather than a blank design. A human review step should check the facts, accessibility and brand approval for each item; brand kits and template restrictions are tools for consistency, not a substitute for review or a promise of error-free output.
Rank #3
- Check names, dates, offers, prices and other factual details against the approved source.
- Confirm that the design uses the right logo, colors, fonts and imagery.
- Review readability and accessibility, including alt text when publishing visual social content.
- Use the appropriate approval process for the audience and channel before publication.
5. Schedule or publish social posts
Connect the relevant social account or accounts to Content Scheduler before starting the publishing flow. Supported networks and account requirements can change, so check the channel choices available in your Adobe Express account and region rather than assuming every service is supported.
- Open the design in the Express editor and select Share > Schedule post.
- Choose the connected channel or channels, then add the caption and media.
- Add alt text describing the visual for people using assistive technology.
- Choose a future date and time to schedule the post, or publish it immediately.
Organizations using Enterprise can assign social publishing as a role capability, allowing content creation and publishing to be handled by different people. Adobe’s current setup details are in its post scheduling and publishing guide.

6. Choose Teams or Enterprise based on your needs
Adobe positions Teams for small and midsize organizations and Enterprise for larger organizations that need broader administration and security. Compare the requirements that affect your workflow; plan features and entitlements can change, so confirm them on Adobe’s current business plans page and Enterprise information page.
