Turn off raid invitation push notifications

Open Pokémon GO and open the Settings menu.

Find Raid Invitations and toggle it off.
Niantic says push notifications are received only when this setting is toggled on. Its instructions do not specify a stable nested menu path, so the precise screen layout may vary. See Niantic’s Inviting Friends to Raid Battles help article.

What turning off the setting changes
Pokémon GO distinguishes between an in-game notification when the app is open and a push notification when the app is in the background or closed. Niantic documents Raid Invitations as the control for push notifications. The help article does not establish that switching it off suppresses in-game notifications or removes invitations from the Nearby menu, so it should not be treated as a complete block on seeing raid invitations.
Do not confuse it with raid attendance sharing
Share Raid Attendance with Friends is a separate setting. It controls whether friends can see your raid activity and join eligible raids from your Friend List; it does not control the documented behavior of raid invitation push notifications. Niantic explains this feature in its Share Raid Attendance with Friends help article.

RSVP Planner reminders are separate
Players who RSVP through Pokémon GO’s Raid Planner can receive a reminder when their scheduled raid time arrives, according to the game’s Raid Planner announcement. The official information describes these reminders separately and does not establish whether the Raid Invitations toggle affects them.
