The option depends on your plan, workspace settings, file type and ChatGPT surface, so it is not available to every account. If you do not see it, a personal-account data export can provide the conversation content to prepare in Docs; a shared ChatGPT link only lets someone view the conversation and does not make a Google Doc.

Create a Google Doc from ChatGPT Work
OpenAI documents creating and editing Google Docs through ChatGPT Work when the relevant Google Workspace app is enabled. Its guidance is to “Name the output format and where ChatGPT should create the file.”

- Open ChatGPT Work and connect or select the relevant Google Workspace app, if it is available in your account.
- In the conversation, ask ChatGPT to create a Google Doc and specify where it should be saved. Say whether you want the full conversation, a cleaned transcript or a summary. For example: Create a Google Doc containing a cleaned transcript of this conversation and save it in my Google Drive.
- Open the resulting document, check that the right conversation content is included, and review its Google Drive sharing settings before distributing it.
If the Google Workspace app or document-creation option is missing, it may not be enabled for your plan, workspace, file type or current ChatGPT surface. Use the export route for eligible personal accounts, or share a ChatGPT link if the recipient only needs to view the conversation.

Use a data export when direct creation is unavailable
Signed-in Free, Go, Plus and Pro personal-account users can request an export in ChatGPT settings or through the OpenAI Privacy Portal. The export is an archive of account data rather than a Google Doc, so you will need to find the relevant conversation and prepare its content in Docs.

- Request the export from ChatGPT settings or the Privacy Portal while signed in to your personal account.
- When the archive is available, locate the relevant conversation and extract the text you want to retain.
- Create a Google Doc and add or format the conversation content. Check that the document contains only the material you intend to keep or share.
Self-service exports are unavailable for ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Healthcare workspaces. Ask your workspace owner or administrator about the appropriate way to access or retain conversation data.
Share a ChatGPT link if a document is not necessary
A shared link is useful when someone only needs to view eligible conversation content. It does not convert the conversation into a Google Doc.

- Note: Make sure your smartphone is equipped with OTG function and need to open OTG function in Settings when you plug memory stick, then you can transfer easily data bewteen different devices
- Open the conversation in ChatGPT and choose Share.
- Review the preview and available options to make sure the shared content is appropriate.
- Create or copy the link and send it only to the intended audience.
For personal accounts, anyone with the link can view it, and you cannot set access separately for individual recipients. Managed-workspace links are restricted to eligible members of the originating workspace. Avoid sharing sensitive material, and delete the shared link when it should no longer provide access.

Google says newly created Docs, Sheets, Slides and Vids files are Restricted by default. In Drive, a file owner can assign Viewer, Commenter or Editor access. Work or school account policies may limit sharing with people outside the organization.

- Before sending a transcript or summary, open its Drive sharing settings and confirm who can access it and what they can do.
- If you need a downloaded file, open the document and use File > Download, then choose the file type.
Google Docs automatically saves changes as you type while you are online. If your account does not offer direct ChatGPT creation, the export route produces data to work from rather than a finished Doc; the shared-link route is for viewing only.
