If you’re looking for an Apple Intelligence setting on Apple TV, Apple’s current compatibility list does not include Apple TV as an Apple Intelligence-capable device. Apple TV does have Siri, and Apple TV 4K can serve as a Home hub for certain Apple Intelligence-powered Home features—but those features also require an eligible Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad.
First identify what is actually failing
The right fix depends on whether you expect Apple Intelligence to run on the TV, Siri to respond to the remote, or an Apple Intelligence-powered Home feature to work through an Apple TV 4K hub.

Apple Intelligence features are not available to run directly on Apple TV
Apple’s documentation explicitly distinguishes Apple TV from its Apple Intelligence-capable devices. There is no Apple Intelligence setting to enable on Apple TV, and installing or updating tvOS will not make the TV itself an Apple Intelligence device. If you want writing tools, image generation, or Apple Intelligence’s newer Siri capabilities, use a compatible iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, or Apple Vision Pro and follow the requirements for that device.
Apple does not publish a general Apple Intelligence repair flow or an Apple Intelligence-specific Apple TV error code. Treating an unsupported feature as a fault to fix on tvOS will send you down the wrong path.

If Siri on Apple TV is the problem
Siri on Apple TV is a separate feature from Apple Intelligence. To use it, hold the Siri button on the Siri Remote while speaking, then release the button. See Apple’s instructions for using Siri on Apple devices.
If Siri still does not respond, check whether Siri and the command you are trying to use are available in your country or region and language. Apple says these vary. The issue should be handled as an Apple TV Siri problem, not as an Apple Intelligence problem.

If an Apple Intelligence-powered Home feature is failing
Apple TV 4K has a limited role: it can act as a compatible Home hub for certain Apple Intelligence-powered Home features. The hub does not replace the eligible Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad required for these features. Apple also says Apple Intelligence must be enabled in the Home app and the hub must have the latest operating system software. Review Apple’s requirements for Apple Intelligence features in the Home app.

- The home has an eligible iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence enabled.
- The home has a compatible Home hub, such as Apple TV 4K, running the latest operating system software.
- Apple Intelligence is enabled in the Home app.
Check requirements for the specific feature
- Notification summaries: Location Services must be enabled for the Home app and Home accessories.
- HomeKit Secure Video descriptions and search: the home owner needs an eligible iCloud+ plan.
Apple’s documentation establishes these prerequisites but does not give a dedicated diagnostic sequence for failures in these Home features. If the requirements are met and the feature still fails, contact Apple Support rather than trying resets or re-pairing steps that Apple has not specified for this issue.

If Apple TV setup itself is stuck
Setup trouble is different from an Apple Intelligence problem. Apple’s guidance for an Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD that will not complete setup is to try these steps:
- If Apple TV stops responding during setup: unplug it from power, plug it back in, and try setup again.
- If setup cannot get past a screen: try a different Wi-Fi network, such as a phone’s personal hotspot. After setup, connect Apple TV to your home Wi-Fi network.
- If you are using iPhone-assisted setup: update iOS; sign in to iCloud with your Apple Account; enable two-factor authentication and iCloud Keychain; turn on Bluetooth; and connect the iPhone to your home Wi-Fi.
These steps come from Apple’s guide for setting up Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD; they are not Apple Intelligence fixes. Apple’s Apple TV 4K setup instructions also list a display with HDMI, an HDMI cable, internet access, and an Apple Account as setup requirements.
