How Sony selects applicants and when results arrive
Sony says it will use a lottery if the number of eligible applications exceeds planned inventory. It has not published the planned unit count, the number of eligible applicants, or selection odds, so there is no reliable way to calculate an individual applicant’s chance. Sony expects to email results around October 26, 2026, to the address on the Sony account. Applicants who linked LINE after applying may also receive the result there.
If selected applicants do not complete their purchases, Sony says it may offer those allocations in a later redraw to eligible applicants who were not selected. A redraw is not guaranteed.
