Can I transfer my NBA 2K25 build to NBA 2K26?
2K’s NBA 2K25 Server Sunset notice and the official NBA 2K25 FAQ do not describe a way to migrate MyCAREER saves, progress, or builds to NBA 2K26. That means there is no supported transfer path established by these sources; it does not establish that every possible platform or circumstance is technically incapable of transferring data.

The FAQ’s cross-progression information concerns MyTEAM, not MyCAREER. It describes MyTEAM points, cards, and progress shared across PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, or Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, along with a VC wallet shared within the same console family. This is not evidence that a MyCAREER build transfers between NBA 2K25 and NBA 2K26.
When does NBA 2K25 shut down, and what stops working?
2K Support’s notice, published September 3, 2026 and updated October 2, 2026, gives three separate dates:

The notice says existing owners can still redownload the game and play offline modes. It names Play Now, MyNBA, The W, and MyWNBA among modes players can continue to enjoy, subject to server-dependent features being unavailable. MyCAREER is explicitly excluded: it will no longer be available from January 1, 2027.

If you want to recreate the build manually in another game, make a personal reference record while you can still access it. Screenshots of the attribute page and any other details you want to remember can help. This is documentation for your own use—not a save backup, export, or import method. 2K’s sunset notice does not provide a MyCAREER save-export procedure.

Do not assume that console cloud saves, USB storage, account linking, or screenshots will preserve a playable MyCAREER save or make it importable into another release; the cited 2K materials do not confirm that. Check 2K’s official notices for updates before the shutdown, since service availability and dates can change.
