BlazBlue: Central Fiction is a PS4 game that PlayStation lists as playable on PS5. To bring your progress over, transfer the PS4 saved data using a console-to-console transfer, a USB drive, or PlayStation Plus cloud storage. These are system-level PS4 save methods; PlayStation’s guidance does not describe a separate in-game migration feature for this title.
Choose a transfer method

Transfer the save from PS4 to PS5 over your network
PlayStation’s data-transfer instructions cover saved data for PS4 games playable on PS5. Before starting, sign in to the same account on both consoles, update their system software, synchronize trophy information, and connect both consoles to the same network. PlayStation says a transfer uses one source console for one destination PS5.

- If the PS5 is still in initial setup: follow the on-screen instructions to transfer data from the PS4.
- If PS5 setup is complete: turn on the PS4. On the PS5, go to Settings > System > System Software > Data Transfer > Continue, then follow the prompts to select and transfer the data. See PlayStation’s data-transfer instructions for the current guidance.
For a transfer started after setup, PlayStation says the PS4 saved data that can be transferred is limited to the user signed in on the source PS4. The PS5 restarts during the process, and some data may continue transferring after the restart. Do not change network settings or run internet connection tests while the transfer is underway; PlayStation warns that doing so may damage or lose data.
Copy the PS4 save using a USB drive
If you can access the source PS4, PlayStation also documents copying PS4 game saved data to USB storage and then copying it to the destination PS5. A USB drive is an alternative, not a requirement.

- On the PS4, copy the game’s saved data to a USB drive using the console’s saved-data management options.
- Connect that drive to the PS5 and copy the saved data to the console using its saved-data management options.
PlayStation notes that copying a save for a game that already has saved data on the PS5 can replace the existing PS5 save. Check which copy you want to keep before proceeding. The official instructions do not specify a particular drive brand, model, or capacity; see PlayStation’s saved-data transfer guidance for details.
Download the save from PlayStation Plus cloud storage
PlayStation Plus members can download saved data from cloud storage to the PS5. Use this option if the Central Fiction save is already there and is associated with the account you are using. Do not assume it was uploaded: check cloud storage for the save before relying on this method. PlayStation describes cloud retrieval as part of its saved-data transfer guidance.

What to expect when playing on PS5
The PlayStation Store lists BlazBlue: Central Fiction as a PS4 game playable on PS5. Its listing cautions that some features available on PS4 may be absent on PS5: BlazBlue: Central Fiction on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation’s broader backward-compatibility guidance says the overwhelming majority of its 4,000+ PS4 games are playable on PS5, while noting that some games may show errors or unexpected behavior: PS4 game backward compatibility on PS5.

If the save does not appear
- Confirm that the same PlayStation account is being used on the consoles, and that the intended user is signed in on the source PS4.
- For cloud retrieval, verify that the save exists in cloud storage under the account being used.
- For USB copying, check that you copied the saved data from the PS4 to the drive, then copied it from the drive to the PS5; take care not to replace a PS5 save you want to keep.
- Make sure both consoles have current system software before attempting console-to-console transfer.
