The report says the edition is limited to 50 individually numbered pieces and that each comes with a certificate, wooden stand and wooden presentation box. The sculpture is designed to capture Sonic in motion. Satoshi Tsuji, president and CEO of 224porcelain, is quoted describing the challenge of translating the character’s forward-leaning pose, trailing spines and airborne lines into porcelain. Do not confuse it with SEGA’s DNA figure
SEGA separately announced a life-size “SONIC THE HEDGEHOG DNA FIGURE” as a limited-time exhibition display at SEGA STORE TOKYO, scheduled to begin June 23, 2026. Does $7,000 mean it is worth $7,000?
No. It means that a reported seller offer is $7,000 for international buyers, before shipping, duties and taxes. Sonic City also reports a Japanese domestic price of ¥1,000,000 including Japanese tax and domestic shipping; that is a different region and cost basis, not a direct like-for-like comparison. What to verify before placing an order
