For a continuous feed, you must also plan how the file repeats and how FFmpeg recovers from temporary output failures; test those behaviors before leaving the stream unattended.
Before you start
You need a YouTube channel able to use Live Control Room, an FFmpeg build that supports your selected input and output, and a sermon recording you have permission to stream. YouTube’s ingestion address and stream key are specific to the stream: use the values currently shown in Live Control Room rather than copying an endpoint from an old tutorial. Keep the key private because it authorizes sending video to your channel.

This setup sends a prerecorded file as a live broadcast; it does not turn a camera or a live service into the feed. Marathi language does not change the encoder workflow, but you should verify that the recording’s audio and video streams are mapped as intended.

- In YouTube Studio, open Create and choose Go live to open Live Control Room. Create or schedule a stream and set its audience and other event details.
- Open the stream’s encoder settings and copy the current server or ingestion URL and stream key. YouTube’s instructions say to enter these in the encoder. Do not publish the key or place it in a publicly visible script or screenshot. YouTube: Get started with live streaming.
- Check the stream’s ingestion protocol and use an output compatible with the endpoint assigned to it. YouTube supports RTMP, including RTMPS, as well as HLS and DASH ingestion; the stream configuration supplies the relevant primary and optional backup addresses. The API exposes these settings and health information. YouTube Live Streams API.
A scheduled event can have a watch page before the encoder starts sending. Start the encoder and wait for the preview in Live Control Room before you start the broadcast to viewers. Check the displayed stream health and resolve any configuration warnings rather than assuming that a successful FFmpeg connection means the viewer-facing stream is healthy.

Smooth mic gain knob on the PC microphone gaming has some resistance to the point, easily for audio attenuation or boost presence to less post-production audio. (Only available for USB connection)
Configure FFmpeg for the recording
Use the current YouTube values
FFmpeg needs an input for the recording and an output targeting the ingestion URL plus the stream key in the format expected by YouTube’s current encoder instructions. Treat this as a configuration pattern, not a copy-and-run command: the correct URL, key syntax, protocol, codecs, and options depend on the values YouTube provides and your installed FFmpeg build. Never substitute an endpoint found in an old guide for the address assigned to your stream.
Check the file and output before looping
First send a short test rather than attempting an unattended all-day run. Confirm that FFmpeg can read the file, that the intended audio and video streams are selected, and that YouTube receives a usable preview. Review the file’s duration and watch through the end once to identify silence, abrupt cuts, or other issues at the loop boundary.

- [Clear Output Voice] Cardioid condenser microphone for PC captures your voice properly, producing clear smooth and crisp sound. Great computer recording mic for gamers/streamers/youtubers focus on the main source and reduces background noise. The streaming microphone does the job well for broadcast ,OBS and teamspeak.
The official FFmpeg material supports reconnection controls and a FIFO muxer pattern for RTMP output recovery, but it does not establish one universally correct YouTube command for looping a sermon file. Input-loop options and audio continuity depend on the FFmpeg version, input format, and output setup. Validate the loop with your actual recording and build; do not assume that restarting the file produces a seamless transition. See the FFmpeg documentation and FFmpeg formats documentation.
Keep the feed running and recover from interruptions
A continuous stream has two separate failure points: the media input may end or fail, and the output connection may drop. Plan for both. Configure and test file repetition for the input; separately, use FFmpeg’s documented reconnection controls or FIFO-based RTMP output recovery where appropriate for your endpoint. These mechanisms can help with temporary errors, but they do not guarantee recovery from every persistent network, encoder, or YouTube-side problem, nor do they guarantee uninterrupted playback for viewers.

After starting FFmpeg, monitor the preview and health feedback in Live Control Room. If the encoder reconnects, confirm that YouTube resumes receiving a healthy feed. For an unattended deployment, test a controlled interruption and recovery before relying on it for a long broadcast. FFmpeg behavior can vary by build, so retain the exact command and version that passed your test.
Plan broadcasts and archives for an all-day feed
YouTube treats a broadcast as the watchable event and distinct video, while a stream describes the audio/video delivery settings. YouTube’s API guide discusses reusing a stream for recurring broadcasts and describes a 24/7 feed with a second, simultaneous broadcast for part of that feed. These are separate API resource arrangements; simply running one encoder process does not automatically create or maintain whatever event schedule or archive structure your channel needs. See the YouTube Live Streaming API guide.

YouTube Help says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That documented rule does not establish that a broadcast running beyond 12 hours will be saved as one complete replay. If you need archives for an ongoing feed, plan separately how you will manage broadcast events and preserve the material rather than relying on one arbitrarily long stream to produce a complete video. Copyright and content checks for sermon recordings
Only stream recordings you are authorized to use. A sermon may include music, readings, images, or other material with separate rights; being religious content or your own recording does not by itself establish permission for every included work. Review YouTube’s current copyright and live-stream rules, and check the recording before broadcast. Repeated or minimally changed material can also raise channel-level monetization or reused-content questions; streaming it continuously does not by itself resolve those issues. For a practical preflight, use the copyright safety checklist.

Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube does not show an incoming preview | The endpoint or key is incorrect, the configured protocol does not match the assigned ingestion endpoint, or FFmpeg is not reaching YouTube. | Recopy the current server URL and key from Live Control Room, verify the output protocol, and inspect FFmpeg’s error output. Keep the key private. |
| Preview appears but YouTube reports unhealthy input | The delivered media or encoder configuration has a problem. | Read the specific health warning in Live Control Room or the API, then check the selected audio/video streams and the recording’s format. Correct and retest before going live. |
| The recording stops at the end | The input was not configured to repeat, or the loop behavior is unsupported by the command or build. | Validate the input-loop method with the installed FFmpeg version and the actual file. Observe the boundary, especially its audio, during a short test. |
| FFmpeg exits after a network or output error | The failure was not transient, or the output path lacks suitable recovery behavior. | Review FFmpeg’s reconnection options and FIFO muxer documentation for the selected output. Test recovery deliberately; no setting guarantees recovery from every error. |
| The broadcast runs longer than expected but there is no complete replay | Archive behavior for a stream longer than 12 hours is not guaranteed by the documented under-12-hour rule. | Plan separate broadcast events and archive handling for a long-running feed; do not assume one continuous event becomes one complete replay. |
Or let it run in the cloud
