To stream on TikTok and Twitch at the same time, send one OBS stream to a multistream relay, connect both accounts, enable both destinations, and start the broadcast from OBS. If you would rather not use OBS, a browser studio can also send a live session to both platforms. First check that your TikTok account is eligible to connect through the desktop or third-party tool you plan to use; access is not available to everyone.
Choose how to send your stream to both platforms
The documented options are a multistream relay paired with OBS, or a browser-based studio. Both route one live session to TikTok and Twitch. Your choice mainly depends on whether you already use OBS scenes or prefer to stream from a browser, and whether your TikTok account can connect to the selected tool.

Confirm TikTok can connect to your streaming tool
TikTok desktop or third-party streaming access may depend on account approval. Restream’s OBS guidance says TikTok RTMP access is not available to every user. Its help guidance, dated July 9, 2026, describes an authorization and approval process and a 50% gaming-content condition for third-party tool access. Treat that condition as Restream’s guidance, not a universal TikTok rule, and check the current requirements shown for your account and chosen tool. Twitch defines simulcasting as “broadcasting the same stream to multiple platforms at once.” Twitch permits it subject to its guidelines and any exclusivity agreement that applies to your account. Do not use your Twitch broadcast to direct viewers to your live stream on TikTok, and do not make the Twitch viewing experience worse than the one on another platform. Route 1: Stream from OBS through a multistream relay
- Connect both destinations in the relay. Sign in to the multistream service and authorize your TikTok and Twitch accounts. Complete any TikTok approval steps it presents.
- Create a stream that accepts an encoder or RTMP input. In the relay, create a new stream and enable TikTok and Twitch as destinations.
- Copy the relay’s stream key into OBS. In OBS, select the relay service or its RTMP encoder destination, then enter the server and stream key provided by the relay. Use the current labels shown by the service; interface names can change.
- Start the broadcast from OBS. The relay receives OBS’s single encoder feed and sends it to both enabled platforms. Check each platform’s live preview to confirm the stream is reaching it.
Keep OBS and the relay’s stream details private. Twitch says a stream key uniquely identifies a stream and is required by encoder software; never show it in a screenshot, overlay, or public chat. Treat relay keys and platform credentials as secrets too. See Twitch’s stream-key FAQ.
Route 2: Use a browser studio
- Connect TikTok and Twitch. Sign in to the browser studio and authorize both accounts, completing any TikTok access or approval process.
- Create a new stream. Select both destinations and enter the stream details requested by the studio.
- Allow camera and microphone access. Grant the browser permission to use the devices you want for the broadcast. An external USB microphone is optional if your built-in audio is not adequate.
- Check the preview and go live. Confirm the intended camera, microphone, stream details, and destinations before starting the broadcast.

What to check if the stream does not reach both platforms
- TikTok is missing or cannot be authorized: Your account may not have the required desktop or third-party access. Check TikTok availability in your account and the current eligibility requirements from the streaming tool.
- Only one platform receives the stream: Return to the relay or studio and verify that both destinations are enabled and connected for this stream.
- OBS does not connect to the relay: Check that OBS is configured for the relay’s encoder or RTMP input and that you copied the current server and key from the correct stream. Do not post the key while asking for help.
- The stream works but Twitch viewers are sent elsewhere: Remove calls directing Twitch viewers to the TikTok live, and make sure Twitch is not receiving a worse viewing experience than the other destination.
