What Extended Operations adds
IO Interactive released the free Extended Operations DLC as part of Update 1.3.0 on October 1, 2026. It adds two TacSim activities—Valhalla Protocol and Jungle Heist—along with campaign replay options New Game+ and 00 difficulty, plus Photo Mode. You do not need to buy Extended Operations separately.

Update 1.3.0 also includes more than 700 fixes and improvements, according to IO Interactive, spanning issues such as crashes, progression blockers, clipping, audio, localization, and UI polish. The update download size varies by platform: 11.9 GB on PS5, 14 GB on Steam, 13.5 GB on Xbox Series, 8 GB on Microsoft PC, and 13.6 GB on Epic Games Store. These are the sizes listed in the official patch notes for this update.
How to start the two TacSim activities
Open TacSim and select the activity you want to play. IO Interactive’s documentation identifies the activities by name but does not specify every menu button, so the steps below use the named in-game destinations rather than assuming a particular menu layout.

Valhalla Protocol
- Open TacSim.
- Select Valhalla Protocol.
- Play through its four missions, adapting to their day or night driving and challenge variations. Use the Aston Martin Valhalla, take down targets, and aim for time bonuses if you want to improve your result.
For basic completion, finishing the four missions is the supported measure. IO Interactive has not published a required medal threshold or a single checklist that makes every optional challenge mandatory.
Jungle Heist
- Open TacSim.
- Select the Vietnam operation, Jungle Heist.
- Search the villa at The Pearl and retrieve the documents from the safe.
The objective is clear, but the official descriptions do not provide a safe combination, guard positions, or a guaranteed route. The operation varies between attempts, so treat the whole property—including its roof—as playable space rather than relying on an unverified fixed walkthrough.

Unlock New Game+ and 00 difficulty
Both options require completing the entire campaign. IO Interactive says New Game+ unlocks after a completed campaign playthrough on any difficulty; 00 difficulty is also gated by campaign completion. New Game+ is a campaign replay, not another standalone TacSim operation.

If you want outfit and gadget customization without the hardest difficulty, IO Interactive says those options can also be carried into New Game+ on Easy, Normal, or Hard.

Use Photo Mode
Update 1.3.0 adds Photo Mode for capturing Bond, locations, and action. Its listed options include camera and lens controls, filters, brightness, poses, overlays, and frames.
