If 007 First Light’s Extended Operations are not appearing, first identify which addition is missing: New Game+, 00 difficulty, Photo Mode, Jungle Heist, or Valhalla Protocol. IO Interactive’s free update 1.3.0 added all of them on October 1, 2026, but the publisher specifies campaign-completion requirements only for New Game+ and 00 difficulty. Check that requirement where it applies, then confirm the update is installed; the right next step depends on the feature and platform.
Which Extended Operations feature is missing?
Extended Operations is the name of a bundle of additions, not one menu option. IO Interactive’s October 1, 2026 update 1.3.0 notes list New Game+, Photo Mode, the 00 difficulty, and TacSim content: the Jungle Heist operation and Valhalla Protocol activity. Identify the specific feature you expect before troubleshooting; their unlock conditions are not all stated to be the same.

- New Game+ or 00 difficulty: check whether you have completed the entire campaign.
- Photo Mode, Jungle Heist, or Valhalla Protocol: verify the game update and look for the feature in the relevant game mode or menu. The update notes do not state that these features require campaign completion.
Complete the campaign for New Game+ or 00 difficulty
The update notes explicitly say that New Game+ unlocks after completing the entire campaign. The new 00 difficulty also unlocks only after campaign completion. If either is absent and you have not finished the campaign, complete it first, then check again.
IOI describes 00 as the game’s hardest difficulty: enemies spot players faster and hit harder, and gadget-resource restoration is reduced. Those details apply to 00; they are not evidence that the other Extended Operations features are campaign-locked.

Confirm update 1.3.0 is installed
Extended Operations arrived in free update 1.3.0 on October 1, 2026. Check your platform’s update or download queue and the game’s displayed version, if available. If the update is pending, let it finish and relaunch the game before checking the feature again. Update delivery and the size shown for a particular installation can vary; the figures below are the download sizes IOI listed in its October 1 notes, not a guarantee of your remaining download.
| Platform or store | Update 1.3.0 size in IOI’s October 1, 2026 notes |
|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 | 11.9 GB |
| Steam | 14 GB |
| Xbox Series | 13.5 GB |
| Microsoft PC | 8 GB |
| Epic Games Store | 13.6 GB |
Check purchase content only if an edition bonus is missing
If the missing item is a preorder or edition bonus rather than one of the free Extended Operations additions, verify the purchase and any separately installable content. IOI’s support guidance for missing content recommends checking the platform purchase history and confirming which edition was bought. These checks address purchased bonuses; they are not a guaranteed fix for missing free-update features.

Contact IOI support if the feature is still missing
The available official guidance does not establish one universal fix for Extended Operations content that remains missing after the update is installed and any applicable unlock requirement is met. Use IOI Player Support to look for a relevant technical, known-issue, account or purchase, or gameplay article. If none fits, IOI’s developer-posted Steam notice recommends opening a support ticket.
