The game is announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 6, 2026; that is a future release date as of October 4, 2026.
How a campaign run works
The campaign’s central loop is to make choices along a tour through the Galactic League. You select a starting vehicle, choose upgrades to shape its build, and decide which events to enter as you plot a path toward becoming champion. Fuse Games co-founder Matt Webster described those choices as consequential decisions about the vehicle, build and selected events.

Official descriptions frame the route as a choice between events, with unique unlocks and new challenges along the way. Crashing too many times ends the tour. You then regroup, rebuild and begin another attempt, facing a fresh set of decisions.
Some perks and unlocks carry into the next run, but the announced details do not say precisely which ones persist or how much progress is retained. They do not establish that every upgrade, currency balance or piece of equipment carries over.

How upgrades and Hibi’s workshop fit in
Hibi, the mechanic, runs a workshop in each planet’s paddock. You can fit parts earned during runs or buy parts from Hibi. The parts provide stat boosts and abilities intended to support different racing styles, letting you tailor a vehicle rather than simply choosing a class and leaving its setup unchanged.
Published descriptions do not specify the workshop’s prices, complete inventory or numerical effects for individual parts. It is therefore not possible to compare builds by exact stats from the announced information.

What the four vehicle classes offer
The announced classes are landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders and podracers. Official descriptions say they differ in capability and handling. Some events mix classes on the same track, so differences in racing lines can become part of the competition as vehicles come into physical contact.

Boosts and risk in the hands-on preview
Xbox Wire’s preview describes an Afterburner that gives a brief, recharging boost, and a high-risk Ramjet boost that can overheat. Those descriptions are preview observations; the cited material does not provide numeric boost values or a complete account of their tuning.
Which locations and modes have been announced?
The gameplay announcement shows Sentinel One, Jakku, Ando Prime and Lantaana. These are revealed locations, not a confirmed exhaustive track list.

Official materials list Campaign, Scenario and Arcade modes, as well as competitive multiplayer. The story-trailer announcement also mentions multiplayer podracing beyond the Mos Espa Circuit. Public descriptions do not provide complete rules for each mode or establish whether progression transfers between all of them, so campaign carryover should not be assumed to apply everywhere.
What the editions add
The official site describes digital Standard and Deluxe editions, along with physical editions. The key distinction for a player is whether the Deluxe extras appeal; the announced material does not say that Deluxe is required for the base campaign or that its vehicles confer a competitive advantage.
