To clear the purple Corrupted Pipes in Notre-Dame, descend from the Transept through the Notre-Dame Undercroft to the Great Organ Room. Find all three Melody Sheets, then touch the zodiac-marked floor keys beneath the giant organ in the exact sequences for the Fugue of Notre-Dame, Sonata and Concerto of Notre-Dame. Keys activate when you land on or touch them; no separate button prompt appears. A green organ flash confirms a correct melody and opens its corrupted route.
What the puzzle requires
The Corrupted Pipes are not opened by attacking them or by finding a conventional switch. They are linked to the giant organ in the Great Organ Room. The solution has three parts:

- Reach the Great Organ Room by going down through the Notre-Dame Undercroft from the Transept.
- Locate the three Melody Sheets hidden in different parts of Notre-Dame.
- Play each melody by contacting the matching zodiac symbols on the floor beneath the organ.
You need all three sheets to complete the puzzle. The sheets provide the melodies’ identities and clues, while the floor beneath the organ supplies the playable keys.
Where to go from the Transept
1. Identify the blocked route
In the Transept, the route is blocked by purple pipes. This is the visible sign that the organ puzzle is active. The note near the pipes explains the cause: This is the noxious work of Death. He’s corrupted the pipes connected to the organ.
That wording points you toward the organ rather than toward the pipes themselves.

2. Descend through the Undercroft
Go down from the Transept into the Notre-Dame Undercroft. Continue until you reach the Great Organ Room. The organ room is the puzzle’s operating area; the keys used for all three melodies are on the floor beneath the giant organ.
3. Search for the Melody Sheets
The three sheets are held by Spirits in separate locations. You can collect them as you reach each area. The available puzzle instructions do not identify a mandatory collection order, so use whichever route is accessible in your current exploration.

Each sheet carries the same clue: Find the melodies of Music Masters of Notre-Dame, and you shall clear this corruption.
The clue tells you that the symbols on the floor are melodies to be performed, not a code to be entered into a menu.

Look beneath the stairs in the Great Organ Room for the Spirit carrying the Fugue of Notre-Dame sheet. Because this sheet is in the organ room itself, it can be obtained while you are first establishing the puzzle area.

Sonata sheet: beneath the zodiac windows
In the Sealed Scriptorium, search beneath the zodiac windows. The Spirit there holds the Sonata sheet. The zodiac imagery is also a visual reminder of the symbols used on the organ-room floor, but the playable row is located beneath the giant organ, not in the Scriptorium.
Concerto sheet: the open spire of La Flèche
Atop La Flèche, go to the open spire. The Spirit at that location has the Concerto of Notre-Dame sheet. This melody is the one tied to the left-side organ route and the next development of the Death storyline.
Read the organ’s floor-key layout correctly
The floor has 14 zodiac-marked keys in a fixed row. Read them from left to right as follows:

Do not substitute a nearby symbol or assume the row starts with the Sun. The Sun and Moon are part of the same fixed sequence as the zodiac signs, and their positions matter when you move across the floor.

Play the three melodies
Stand on or touch each named key in order. A key sinks, glows and chimes when activated. The game registers contact through movement, so there is no additional interact button to press.
Fugue of Notre-Dame
Use this four-key sequence:
- Moon
- Sun
- Moon
- Virgo
When the final Virgo contact is accepted, the organ should flash green and the Fugue-linked corrupted route should open.
Sonata
Use this seven-key sequence:
- Sagittarius
- Capricorn
- Pisces
- Aquarius
- Capricorn
- Sagittarius
- Capricorn
The Sonata clears the right-side path. The repeated Capricorn contacts are intentional; do not stop after the first one.
Concerto of Notre-Dame
Use this seven-key sequence:
- Gemini
- Cancer
- Virgo
- Leo
- Virgo
- Leo
- Gemini
The Concerto clears the left-side organ route and advances the Death storyline. Virgo and Leo each appear twice, so make sure every repeated contact is performed in its stated position.

How to enter a melody without missing a note
- Position the character so the entire key row is visible and you can distinguish adjacent symbols.
- Use the left-to-right layout above to identify the target symbol before moving.
- Move directly onto the first key. Wait for its sink, glow and chime so you know the game registered contact.
- Move to the next symbol in the listed sequence. Do not add an extra key between two listed notes.
- Continue until the final symbol. The completion signal is a green flash from the organ.
- After the route opens, leave the organ room and follow the newly cleared side of the route. The Sonata opens the right side; the Concerto opens the left-side organ route.
The sequence is based on contact, not on pressing a separate control. If you are standing near a key but have not actually touched it, its note will not count.

A correct melody makes the organ flash green. That flash is the confirmation that the associated corruption has been cleared and its route is open. The key’s individual sink, glow and chime confirm each note; the green organ flash confirms the complete sequence.
Each melody is tied to a different section, so opening one route does not replace the other two melodies. Complete the remaining sequences to clear the other corrupted routes and finish the organ-related progression.

The purple pipes are still blocking the route
Check that you reached the Great Organ Room rather than trying to activate the pipes in the Transept. The pipe blockage is the symptom; the playable mechanism is the floor-key row beneath the organ.
No button prompt appears on a key
No prompt is supposed to appear. Keys activate through landing or direct contact. Walk onto the symbol until it visibly sinks, glows and chimes.
The organ does not flash green
At least one contact was not registered or a symbol was entered out of order. Compare every movement with the relevant sequence, including repeated notes such as Moon in the Fugue, Capricorn in the Sonata, and Virgo, Leo and Gemini in the Concerto. Start that melody again from its first listed key and watch for the individual activation effect after each contact.
You cannot tell which key is which
Use the fixed 14-key row, read left to right. The complete order begins Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Sun, Moon and continues Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. The Sun and Moon are between Virgo and Libra; they are not decorative markers outside the sequence.

You found one sheet but do not know what to do next
Finding a sheet does not complete its melody automatically. Return to the Great Organ Room and perform the corresponding sequence on the floor keys. You need all three sheets for the full puzzle, but each listed sequence can be performed at the organ once you have access to its notes.
You opened one side but still see another corrupted route
That is expected. The Sonata controls the right-side path, while the Concerto controls the left-side organ route. The Fugue opens its own associated corrupted route. A single green flash does not clear every pipe in Notre-Dame.
Is there a required order for the three melodies?
The puzzle instructions establish the three melodies, their sheets and their route effects, but do not specify a mandatory performance order. Treat them as separate organ sequences: collect the sheets available to you, then perform each exact sequence at the Great Organ Room. If a route is inaccessible, explore the currently available areas to locate the remaining Spirit and sheet rather than trying random key combinations.
