To sign up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, first check whether a local program serves the child’s area, then follow that local partner’s enrollment instructions. Use the official site for the child’s country and its “Find My Program” or “Check Availability” tool; availability and registration are managed locally.
Check availability in the child’s country
Start at the official Imagination Library site for the country where the child lives. The site lists programs for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and Australia. Choose the country site and open its availability locator. The U.S. locator and the Canadian locator have country-specific search options.

In the United States, the locator describes three ways to search: use its map, browse the local partner list, or enter a postcode. In Canada, search by local champion name or postcode. The locator is interactive, so its current results—not a general expansion announcement—are what can establish whether a particular location is covered.
What to do when a local program is listed
Open the local partner’s listing and follow its current instructions to register. Local partners enroll eligible children who live within the geographic areas they serve; the same enrollment form, required documents, and processing time are not established for every partner. Check the official U.S. program information and the partner’s own directions for the applicable local process.
The program describes itself as free to enrolled families. Local partners secure funding for books and shipping, and registered children receive a book each month at no cost to their families. The official U.S. program page explains the monthly book offering and local-partner role.
What if the program isn’t currently available in the area?
The U.S. and Canadian locator pages let families leave a postcode and contact information to receive notice if local coverage becomes available. Use the option shown on the applicable country locator. U.S. availability · Canadian availability.
If you want to help bring the program to a community rather than wait for coverage, use the separate Start a Program route. The U.S. information describes contacting a regional director and developing local partnership, funding, and operating arrangements; it is a community-level process, not an alternate child-registration form.

The official terms describe eligibility for children from birth through age five and say that parents, legal guardians, and other authorized adults may register eligible children. Read the program terms. Area coverage still applies: registration is through a partner serving the child’s residence. The terms page is marked last revised April 26, 2019, so use the current locator and local partner for present-day area instructions.
