On the PS5, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play, then select Enable. The feature is enabled by default on the first PS5 used to sign in to your account. Once enabled, other users on that console can play your purchased and downloaded games and media, including when the console is offline.
How to enable game sharing on PS5

Sign in to the PS5 using the account that owns the games you want to share.

Select Enable. If the menu offers Disable, sharing is already enabled for that account on this PS5.

Sony enables the feature automatically on the first PS5 used to sign in. An account can have Console Sharing and Offline Play enabled on only one PS5 at a time. The limit applies to this PS5 feature and does not change the activation limits for other consoles. Sony’s Console Sharing and Offline Play instructions provide the current US menu path.
What other users can access
On the enabled PS5, other users can play games and use media that the enabling account purchased and downloaded. They do not need to use that purchasing account to play those titles on that console, and access can work while the PS5 is offline.

Some PlayStation Plus benefits can also be shared. PlayStation Plus remains tied to the subscribing account, and not every subscription feature or benefit is shared with other users. Sony says selected benefits can be shared on a primary PS4 and one PS5 with Console Sharing and Offline Play enabled; see its PlayStation Plus support page for the benefit details.
How to move sharing to another PS5
Disable Console Sharing and Offline Play on the previously enabled PS5 before enabling it on the replacement console. On the old PS5, sign in as the account that enabled sharing, open Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play, and select Disable. Then sign in on the new PS5 and follow the enable steps above.

If you cannot access the old console, Sony provides a remote option in Account Management to deactivate all devices. This removes activations broadly rather than targeting just the old PS5, and Sony limits remote deactivation to once every six months. Use that option only when necessary.

Check access in this order:

Confirm Console Sharing and Offline Play is enabled on the PS5 for the account that purchased the game. Also make sure the content belongs to that account and has been downloaded.

If the game is accessed through PlayStation Plus rather than a purchase, confirm that the subscription is active and that the title is still available through the subscription.

If the game shows a padlock, follow Sony’s padlock and license troubleshooting guidance. A padlock can point to a license or network issue.

Check PlayStation service status and install the latest PS5 system software.

Restart the router: unplug it for at least five minutes, then reconnect it. Restart the PS5 as well.
