Which Game Pass plans include Gears of War: Reloaded?

| Game Pass Premium | Cloud-play access is included, according to the Xbox Store listing. |

| PC Game Pass | The title-specific listing does not establish eligibility. Check the current catalog for your country and PC platform before subscribing. |
Xbox’s general Game Pass overview describes PC games as part of PC Game Pass, but that general description does not confirm that this particular game is included for PC Game Pass subscribers.
Do you need Ultimate, or is Premium enough?
For the access stated on the game listing, Premium is enough; Ultimate is not presented as a requirement just to play Reloaded. Xbox’s current US overview describes Premium as a library of 200+ games and Ultimate as 500+ games across console, PC, and supported devices. Those are Xbox’s plan-library counts, not a guarantee that a specific title is available on every listed device.
#1 Best Overall
- The Original, Remastered: Powered by Unreal Engine, Gears of War: Reloaded is a remaster of the blockbuster first Gears of War, now fully optimised for PlayStation 5.
- All Included: Gears of War: Reloaded delivers all post-launch content for the original title, including a bonus campaign act, multiplayer maps, plus characters and cosmetics, at no additional cost.
- Stunning Gameplay: The iconic original now looks and plays better than ever with no load times, 4K assets plus remastered textures, lighting, shadows and reflections, HDR, Dolby Atmos, Variable Refresh Rate as well as up to 120 FPS in multiplayer.*
- Cross Play: Supports cross-play across platforms, allowing you and your friends to squad-up, regardless of where you play.*
- Cross Progression: Jump from one platform to another and your campaign saves. Signing in with your Microsoft account is required for cross-progression.*
Choose Ultimate if its wider library and other included benefits matter to you. If your main goal is access to this game and Premium is available for your device and region, the Store listing gives no title-specific reason to pay for Ultimate instead.
What Essential does—and does not—cover
Essential includes online console multiplayer, which can matter if you want to play the game online. That multiplayer benefit is separate from access to the game itself: Xbox’s listing says you must purchase Gears of War: Reloaded to stream it with Essential. Do not treat Essential’s online-multiplayer access as proof that the game is included in its catalog.

Console, PC, and cloud access are different checks
Xbox lists Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming as play options for Gears of War: Reloaded; its product page also describes cross-play and cross-progression. However, a platform being listed as supported does not by itself establish that a particular subscription tier includes the game on that platform. The clearest tier-specific statement names Premium and Ultimate for cloud play.

- PC: Check the PC catalog specifically; the general PC Game Pass description is not title-level confirmation.
- Cloud: The listing names Premium and Ultimate for included cloud play; Essential requires a purchase to stream the game.
Buy the game instead of subscribing
Xbox also lists Gears of War: Reloaded for purchase in its Store. Buying it is an alternative if you do not want a subscription. The Xbox listing does not confirm Amazon inventory or whether a physical edition is available there, so verify the platform, edition, format, stock, and price with any retailer before ordering.

- Listen up, soldier. The world is in ruin. The Locust Horde has risen. It’s Human vs Horde, and here’s your mission: Pick a side, build a powerful deck, and win the war. The fate of the world is in your hands!
- Experience the gritty gunplay of the video game in this official two-player card game. Take command of the COG forces or the Locust horde and seize control of the battlefield, one chapter at a time.
- Strategise your way through each chapter, bolstering your forces with classic characters like Marcus Fenix, General Raam, August “Cole Train” Cole, Dominic Santiago, and Damon Baird.
- Every battle counts. Whatever happens in each chapter will change what comes next, so you’d better be ready to dominate. The deck you build and decisions you make will change the way you play each campaign, making this a game you can reload time and time again.
- Whether you're a hardened vet or a grass-green rookie, get ready to take cover and lay down suppressive fire. Your enemies are trying to take the line, soldier. You’d better shove back hard.
Does this apply to every Gears of War game?
No single tier recommendation should be assumed to cover the entire franchise. The evidence here is specific to Gears of War: Reloaded; check the current listing for each other Gears title, since catalog eligibility can differ by game, platform, plan, region, and time.
