How to change the refresh rate

Open Settings.

Tap Display & brightness, then Refresh rate. Xiaomi documents this path for the POCO F6 Pro, not specifically for the C95 Pro. If you do not see those labels, search Settings for “refresh rate.”

Try the apps where you want smoother scrolling, animations, or gameplay. POCO says refresh rate can be adjusted up to 120Hz for supported apps; an app may not run at that rate simply because the phone’s highest option is selected.

The C95 Pro runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3, but POCO notes that features and services can vary by software version and phone model. The menu labels or available choices may therefore differ from those shown for another POCO phone.
Which refresh-rate setting should you choose?
POCO describes the C95 Pro display as AdaptiveSync up to 120Hz, adapting to content for scrolling, gaming, and animations. That is the manufacturer’s description, not a promise that every app will run at 120Hz.

What 120Hz means on the C95 Pro
Refresh rate describes how often the display can update its image. It is distinct from resolution: POCO lists the C95 Pro’s screen as 6.9 inches with a 1600 × 720 resolution, while specifying a refresh rate of up to 120Hz for supported apps.

How to check the reported refresh rate
Xiaomi documents a Show refresh rate indicator in Developer options. The exact steps and labels can vary by software version, and Xiaomi’s instructions are not specific to the C95 Pro.

In Settings, find and enable Developer options if they are not already available. The route and activation steps can vary by OS version.

The indicator reports a refresh-rate value; it is not proof that every app is rendering at the phone’s chosen maximum or at a matching frame rate.

The app may not support the higher rate. POCO’s specification says adjustment up to 120Hz is available for supported apps, and does not provide a supported-app list.

The setting path or options may differ. The documented Settings route and selectable choices cited here are for another POCO model; search Settings for “refresh rate” if you cannot find the menu.

The phone may be adapting to content. POCO describes the display as AdaptiveSync, but the precise behavior and labels on C95 Pro firmware are not established by the product specifications.
No C95 Pro-specific measurement establishes the battery-life difference between refresh-rate settings, and no universal method to force every app to 120Hz is confirmed.
