DraftKings has separate settings for deposit limits, wagering limits, and time limits: they restrict money added to an account, amounts wagered, and hours spent on Sportsbook or Casino, respectively. You can find them under your logged-in account’s Responsible Gaming or Player Limits settings. The exact menu and the rules for changing a limit can vary by device, product, and location.
What each DraftKings limit controls

Set a deposit limit
Choose the route that matches how you access DraftKings Sportsbook. After selecting a daily, weekly, or monthly period, enter the amount, save, and confirm. DraftKings says a confirmation appears when the limit is set.

Sportsbook app
- Sign in to the DraftKings Sportsbook app.
- Tap your profile photo.
- Scroll to Responsible Gaming and tap Deposit Limits.
- Select Per day, Per week, or Per month, then enter an amount.
- Tap Save, then Confirm.
Desktop
- Sign in to DraftKings Sportsbook and open the profile menu.
- Choose Account Information.
- Open Responsible Gaming and scroll to Limits.
- Set a deposit period and amount, then save and confirm.
Mobile web
- Sign in to DraftKings Sportsbook.
- Open the menu, then choose Settings and Account Information.
- Choose Player Limits.
- Select a deposit period and amount, then save and confirm.
For US accounts, DraftKings describes this as an account-level limit covering cumulative deposits across Daily Fantasy Sports, Sportsbook, and Casino, rather than a Sportsbook-only setting. See DraftKings’ deposit-limit help for its stated product scope.

Set a wagering limit
DraftKings lists daily, weekly, and monthly wagering limits for Sportsbook and Casino, as well as a maximum single-wager limit configured separately for Sportsbook, Casino, and Electric Poker. The available official overview does not establish one device-by-device setup sequence, so use the controls shown in your account:
- Sign in and open Responsible Gaming → Player Limits in your account.
- Choose the applicable wagering limit, period, and product control shown on screen.
- Enter the limit, then save and confirm if prompted.
Do not confuse a maximum single-wager limit with a daily, weekly, or monthly wagering limit: they are distinct controls. Availability and labels may vary by location and product. See the DraftKings Player Limits overview.

Set a daily time limit
A time limit restricts how many hours per day you can spend on Sportsbook or Casino. It is not a cap on deposits or wagers. Select the daily restriction in Player Limits, then save and confirm.

- Sign in and tap your profile photo.
- Open Responsible Gaming → Patron Protection Center → Player Limits.
- Scroll to Time Limits and choose a daily restriction.
- Save and confirm.
Desktop
- Sign in and open the profile menu.
- Choose Account Information, then open Responsible Gaming → Limits.
- Select a time limit, then save and confirm.
Mobile web
- Sign in and open the menu.
- Choose Settings → Account Information → Player Limits.
- Select a time limit, then save and confirm.
These routes are from DraftKings’ time-limit instructions. If the labels differ in your account, use the Player Limits area and the options available for your product and location.

What happens when you change a limit
DraftKings says lowering a limit takes effect immediately. An increase cannot take effect until the existing limit expires. The wait depends on the limit type and jurisdiction; DraftKings’ current US overview gives examples including 90-day waits for deposit-limit increases in Massachusetts, Ohio, and Louisiana, and separate rules for Illinois. DraftKings says daily, weekly, and monthly limits reset at midnight UTC, which it equates to 7 p.m. EST or 8 p.m. EDT depending on daylight saving time. As a result, the platform’s limit period may turn over before local midnight. DraftKings Player Limits overview.

If player limits are not enough
DraftKings also offers cool-off and self-exclusion controls, which are more restrictive access controls than setting a deposit, wager, or time cap. Its support article says self-exclusion can be set for up to five years; available options and product coverage should be checked in the account and the applicable support information.
