Binance Futures price alerts are configured from the Markets screen in Binance Pro. Choose the Futures pair, tap Alert, set the condition, target and frequency, then select Create Alert. Binance documents a limit of 10 price alerts per trading pair, 50 alerts across the account and 90-day validity for each alert.
The documented Liquidation Alert is different: it is a Portfolio Margin tool tied to your account’s UniMMR (Unified Maintenance Margin Ratio). It is not a universal warning for every Futures account and is unavailable in Binance’s default mode. Follow the current labels shown in your account because menus vary by app version, account mode and jurisdiction.

What each Binance alert actually does
A Binance alert is a notification that a defined market or account condition has been met. A standard Futures price alert watches a selected contract and notifies you when its price or percentage change reaches your rule. It does not submit, modify or close an order. You must decide what to do after receiving it.

Binance warns that network conditions can delay or prevent reminders. Phone or desktop notification permissions, an outdated app, a disconnected device or account-specific feature availability can all affect delivery.
Set a Binance Futures price alert in the app
Before you start
- Update the Binance app and sign in to the account that holds or watches the Futures market.
- Use Binance Pro. The alert control may not appear in a simplified mode.
- Confirm the exact contract symbol, such as the USDⓈ-M or COIN-M Futures pair you intend to monitor. A spot-market alert on a similarly named pair is a different alert.
- Allow Binance notifications in your phone’s operating-system settings. On desktop, allow browser or desktop-app notifications and do not block them with a system focus mode.
Step-by-step setup
- Open Binance and switch to Pro mode if necessary.
- Tap Markets.
- Search for the exact Futures trading pair. Check the contract type and quote asset before continuing.
- Open the pair and tap Alert. If the button is missing, check that you are in Pro mode, that the app is current and that the pair is supported in your jurisdiction.
- Choose the condition offered for that market. Depending on the interface, choices can include price reaches, rises above, drops to or percentage-change conditions.
- Enter the target price or percentage and select the alert frequency available on your screen. Review the trigger direction carefully; “rises above” and “drops to” are not interchangeable.
- Tap Create Alert.
- Trigger a harmless test later by creating a threshold close to the current price, then remove it after confirming that notifications arrive. Do not use a test threshold that could be mistaken for a trading signal.

Price-alert limits and expiry

These figures are from Binance Support’s 2022 documentation and may be presented differently if Binance changes the product. If you reach a limit, open your alert list, delete obsolete rules and create the new one. Do not assume an old alert remains active indefinitely.

Set a Portfolio Margin Liquidation Alert
Who can use it
Binance documents Liquidation Alert as a Portfolio Margin feature. It is available from the Futures or Margin trading page when the account is using the relevant Portfolio Margin mode. Binance states that the function is unavailable in default mode, so a regular Futures account may not show the menu at all.

The trigger is your account’s UniMMR, not the price of one contract. UniMMR is a margin-health ratio that reflects the maintenance-margin status of the unified Portfolio Margin account. A threshold based on UniMMR can therefore respond to combined account risk rather than a single pair reaching a fixed price.
Step-by-step setup
- Confirm that Portfolio Margin is enabled and that your account is eligible for the feature. If the account remains in default mode, the setting will not appear.
- Open a Futures or Margin trading page.
- Open the page’s settings or tools menu.
- Under Advanced Tool, choose Liquidation Alert.
- Set the UniMMR threshold at which you want a notification. Use a level that leaves enough time to review positions, collateral, funding and market conditions; the alert is not a guarantee that action will be possible before liquidation.
- Save or confirm the setting, then verify that Binance notifications are permitted at the operating-system level.
- Review the setting periodically as your portfolio, leverage and risk tolerance change.

What the Liquidation Alert does not cover
- It is not a universal alert for every Binance Futures account.
- It does not monitor a single position’s liquidation price as a substitute for account-level margin monitoring.
- It does not add collateral, reduce leverage, close positions or prevent liquidation.
- It cannot guarantee delivery at a particular time, especially during congestion or a poor network connection.
Allow notifications so alerts can arrive
Creating a rule inside Binance is only one part of delivery. Check each layer below before relying on an alert:

- Phone permissions: in iOS or Android settings, open Binance’s app-permission page and allow notifications, sounds and badges as appropriate. Disable a focus, bedtime or battery-saver mode that suppresses background delivery.
- Desktop permissions: allow notifications for the Binance desktop app or browser session. Check that the browser tab is signed in to the intended account.
- Connectivity: test Wi-Fi and cellular data separately. A VPN, captive portal, unstable signal or restrictive corporate network can interfere with push delivery.
- App state: install current updates and sign in again if the app has been force-closed for a long period. Do not rely on an old build whose menu labels no longer match the support instructions.
Binance explicitly cautions that network congestion or poor network conditions may delay or prevent reminders. Treat an alert as a convenience layer, not as a real-time execution guarantee. For high-risk positions, keep the Futures risk and margin pages available and use more than one independent way to monitor the account.

Troubleshoot a missing or late alert
No Alert button appears
- Switch from a simplified interface to Binance Pro.
- Confirm that you opened the Futures pair from Markets, not a spot-market page.
- Update the app and restart it.
- Check whether the pair, account type or jurisdiction supports the feature. Menu labels can change by app version.
The Liquidation Alert menu is missing
- Verify that the account is actually in Portfolio Margin mode.
- Look under the Futures or Margin page’s settings, then Advanced Tool.
- If the account is in default mode, the absence is expected; Binance documents this alert for Portfolio Margin rather than all Futures accounts.
- Do not substitute a price alert and assume it measures UniMMR. They watch different conditions.
The alert exists but nothing arrived
- Open the alert list and confirm that the rule still exists and has not passed its 90-day validity period.
- Check the exact pair, contract type, direction and target. A rule for “rises above” will not fire when price falls through the same number.
- Confirm that Binance notifications are enabled both in the app and in the phone or desktop operating system.
- Check connectivity on the device that should receive the notification. Try cellular data if Wi-Fi is unreliable.
- Install updates, sign out and back in, and restart the device if push registration appears stuck.
- Consider network congestion or a delayed push service. Binance does not guarantee timely reminders.
The alert fired at an unexpected time
- Review whether the condition was a percentage change rather than an absolute price.
- Check the selected frequency and whether the rule is allowed to notify repeatedly.
- Confirm the chart and contract you were watching; similarly named pairs can have different prices.
- Compare the notification timestamp with the market page after reconnecting. A delayed push can arrive after the underlying condition has already moved away.
Optional automation with TradingView webhooks
Eligible USDⓈ-M Futures users can use Binance’s documented TradingView integration as a separate automation path. Binance states that a paid TradingView subscription is required. This is not the same as a normal Binance notification: a TradingView alert or strategy can send a webhook message to Binance, and that message may be configured to trigger trading instructions.
General setup flow
- Confirm that the Binance account and USDⓈ-M Futures workflow are eligible for the integration.
- In Binance, create or reveal the webhook endpoint provided for the integration.
- In TradingView, create an alert or strategy and open its Notifications settings.
- Paste the Binance webhook URL into the webhook field and configure the message exactly as required by Binance’s current instructions.
- Run the webhook only after checking the symbol, side, order type, quantity, leverage assumptions and any reduce-only or close-position behavior.
- Test with the smallest practical risk or a non-destructive configuration before enabling a strategy that can send live orders.
Webhook credentials and URLs should be treated like trading permissions. Anyone who obtains a usable endpoint or message format may be able to send instructions, depending on the integration’s controls. Keep the URL private, review active TradingView alerts, revoke or replace an exposed endpoint and monitor order history after activation. A webhook can fail because of an invalid payload, a disabled alert, a subscription limitation, network outage or an exchange-side rejection; never assume that a webhook message proves an order executed.

For price monitoring
- Use one alert for the level that requires your attention and avoid filling the 10-per-pair allowance with stale rules.
- Write down the intended response to each important level before the alert fires, such as checking position size or reducing exposure.
- Recreate important rules before the 90-day expiry rather than waiting for them to disappear.
For liquidation-risk monitoring
- Set a UniMMR threshold high enough to allow time for a deliberate review.
- Check the full Portfolio Margin account, not only the position that appears most volatile.
- Keep collateral and leverage decisions separate from the notification itself; receiving an alert does not change account margin.
For either type
- Test delivery with a harmless threshold after changing devices, reinstalling the app or altering notification permissions.
- Use the labels currently visible in your account and verify regional or account-mode differences.
- Continue monitoring during fast markets, maintenance windows or known connectivity problems because Binance cannot guarantee reminder timing.
