The steps differ between Android and iPhone, and not every Skyworth TV supports every method.
Check your Skyworth model before you start
Skyworth’s Philippines support page lists separate tutorials for Google Home screen mirroring and AirScreen mirroring. A brochure for the SUC9300 describes Castplay. These examples show that Skyworth casting options vary by model and region; they do not establish that every TV has all three features.

Find the model number on the TV label or in its settings, often under Settings > About. Then look up the manual or resources for that specific model. Skyworth USA’s FAQ directs owners to device-specific downloads and explains how to find the software version. Cast video or audio from an app with Google Cast
Use this method when the Skyworth TV supports Google Cast and you want to play content from an app that offers Google Cast. Google’s instructions require the phone and TV to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

- Connect the phone and Skyworth TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open an app that supports Google Cast and start or select the content.
- Tap the app’s Cast button. Its location varies by app.
- Select the Skyworth TV from the device list.
This sends the app’s supported content to the TV. It does not guarantee that every app, item of content, or phone screen can be shown. Check the app and TV’s capabilities if the Cast button or TV does not appear. See Google’s instructions for casting from apps to a TV and its Google Cast setup requirements.
Mirror an Android screen
For full-screen Android casting, use the TV’s Google Home screen-mirroring guidance if your model supports it. Skyworth lists a Google Home screen-mirroring tutorial on its Philippines support page. The exact phone controls vary, so use the steps for your phone and TV rather than relying on a universal menu path.

- Connect the phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
- On the phone, open Google Home and follow its screen-casting instructions to choose the TV.
- Stop casting from the phone when you are finished.
Google says the phone and TV should use the same Wi-Fi network name and that AP or client isolation must be disabled for discovery. See Google’s Android screen-casting guidance.
Use an iPhone or iPad
For full-screen mirroring, verify that the exact Skyworth model has AirScreen or another compatible receiving feature. Skyworth Philippines lists an AirScreen mirroring tutorial, but that does not mean AirPlay is built into every Skyworth TV. Follow the model-specific instructions to enable the receiver and connect from the iPhone or iPad.

If you only want to play a video from an app, use its Cast button instead, provided the app and TV support Google Cast. On iOS 14 or later, allow Local Network access for the relevant app so it can discover Cast devices. Google Cast support alone does not make a TV an AirPlay screen-mirroring receiver. Google’s guidance is at casting from apps.
Fix a Skyworth TV that does not appear
Check these causes in order, since device discovery depends on both compatible TV features and network access.

- Confirm the TV feature. Check the model’s manual or Skyworth resource page for the exact casting method you are trying to use. A TV that can receive app casts may not support full-screen mirroring.
- Check Wi-Fi. Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network. For Android screen casting, Google also advises using the same network name.
- Check network isolation. AP or client isolation on a router or extender can block devices from seeing each other. Guest, hotel, or public Wi-Fi may restrict local discovery.
- Check iPhone permission. On iOS 14 or later, enable Local Network access for the casting app when using Google Cast.
- Try basic recovery. Restarting the devices or updating the relevant app may be reasonable next steps, but these are not guaranteed fixes for every Skyworth issue.
- Consult model-specific support. If discovery still fails after the checks above, use the resources for your TV model or contact Skyworth support.

Can you cast without Wi-Fi?
The Google Cast methods described here rely on the phone and TV being discoverable on the same Wi-Fi network. If your network blocks local device discovery, these steps may not work. Whether a particular Skyworth model offers another direct connection method is not established across the range; check that model’s manual rather than assuming all TVs support one.

When an HDMI streaming device may help
If the TV lacks the feature you need, an HDMI streaming device that supports Google Cast is one possible fallback. It requires a usable HDMI input, and device and TV requirements vary; check the specific hardware before buying. This can provide Google Cast capability for compatible app content, but it should not be treated as a guaranteed way to mirror an iPhone’s entire screen.
