To schedule Visualping screenshots hourly, open the monitor in the dashboard and choose an hourly interval from its frequency dropdown. Use Schedule separately if you want to restrict checks to certain days or hours; that setting limits when checks may run but does not set the interval.
Set the monitor to check every hour
- Open Visualping and go to the dashboard.
- Open the monitor for the webpage you want to track.
- Use the monitor’s frequency dropdown and select an hourly interval.
- Save the monitor if Visualping prompts you, then check its status and next checks in the dashboard.
Visualping’s help documentation says its maximum check frequency is every two minutes, so hourly checks are within the published capability. That is a product limit, not a recommendation to check every page that often. The documentation does not establish that a check will run at the exact same minute on every hour.

Use Advanced Scheduling to limit days or hours
Frequency and Advanced Scheduling do different jobs. Frequency sets how often the monitor checks; the schedule restricts the days and daily time window in which checks are allowed to run.

- Choose the active days and set the permitted time window.
- Confirm the schedule’s timezone, then save if prompted.
Visualping’s current help article describes one time block per day, with the same range applying to every active day. Business users can set the workspace timezone in Workspace Settings. On other plans, the schedule uses the user’s timezone. If you describe a schedule in local clock time, verify which timezone applies to the account.

Choose an interval that fits the monitoring job
Hourly checks are useful when you want regular updates without checking as often as every few minutes. Choose cadence based on how quickly you need to notice a change, how many pages you monitor, and the resulting check consumption. Visualping states that check consumption is frequency multiplied by pages, and its Health Dashboard estimates monthly use under current schedules. Visualping’s Health Dashboard information explains that usage relationship.
Visualping’s general workflow is to add a webpage, choose the page or element to monitor, describe the changes of interest, set a frequency, and review detected changes in the dashboard or notifications. Cloud monitors continue running when your computer or browser is off; local monitoring requires Chrome to remain open.

Check that the monitor is running
- Confirm the monitor shows an active status in the dashboard.
- Review the next-check information shown there rather than assuming execution at a precise minute each hour.
- If you used Advanced Scheduling, confirm that the current day and time fall inside its allowed days and window, and that the timezone is the one you intended.
- Check estimated monthly consumption in the Health Dashboard if you monitor multiple pages.
Troubleshooting hourly monitoring
An hourly option is not visible
The reviewed documentation does not specify the exact choices shown in every account’s frequency dropdown or account entitlements. Open the monitor’s frequency control and check the options available to that monitor. Visualping’s help page states a maximum frequency of every two minutes, but does not establish that every interval is available for every account.

The monitor does not check during the hours you expected
Check whether Advanced Scheduling is restricting the allowed days or time window. Then verify the timezone: Business workspaces can specify one in Workspace Settings, while other plans use the user’s timezone.

Monthly check use is higher than expected
Check how many pages are monitored and how frequently each one runs. Visualping describes consumption as frequency multiplied by pages; its Health Dashboard estimates monthly use based on current schedules.
Checks stop when your computer is off
Visualping’s documented behavior distinguishes cloud monitors, which continue while your computer or browser is off, from local monitoring, which requires Chrome to remain open. Confirm which monitoring mode you configured.
