How the workflow fits together
The schedule controls when the scenario starts; the URL array and Iterator control how many pages it processes. A typical scenario is:

- A scheduled scenario starts.
- A source module or scenario input supplies an array of URLs.
- Tools > Iterator turns each array item into its own bundle.
- A screenshot action captures the current bundle’s URL.
- A destination stores or distributes the resulting screenshot.
Make says: “Active scenarios run periodically according to their defined schedule.” An inactive scenario can be run manually for testing, but it will not perform recurring runs.
Build the scenario
1. Prepare the URL list
Choose a source Make can read, such as a connected data source, or provide a URL array as scenario input. Use one URL per item. Decide whether to omit blank entries and how to treat duplicates; otherwise, the scenario may attempt to capture empty values or capture the same page more than once.

2. Set when it runs
In the Scenario Builder, open the schedule control on the toolbar and choose a cadence. Make documents regular intervals, one-time runs, daily, weekdays, weekly, monthly, specified dates, and on-demand scheduling. Daily schedules can include multiple run times. The minimum interval depends on your Make plan. On-demand scenarios wait for an API call or a manual Run once action rather than running on a recurring schedule.

3. Read and split the URLs
- Add the module that reads your URL list, or the module that produces the array from your scenario input.
- Add Tools > Iterator immediately after it.
- In the Iterator’s Array field, map the array containing the URLs.
The Iterator emits a series of bundles, one per array item. Place the screenshot action downstream of it and map the current bundle’s URL—not the original whole array—to the action’s webpage URL field. See Make’s Iterator documentation.
4. Add a screenshot action
Make’s GetScreenshot integration documents Take Screenshot for a webpage and Take Element Screenshot for a selected page element. The latter is useful when you have a selector for the specific element you want. The Make connection requires a GetScreenshot account and API key.

Make labels its GetScreenshot app documentation AI-generated and advises checking important details with the vendor. Confirm the current connection fields and action behavior with GetScreenshot before relying on them in a production scenario. The app listing is at Make’s GetScreenshot integration page.
5. Store or send each result
Connect the screenshot output to a destination that fits the workflow, such as a file store or a notification module. Map the output from the screenshot action for the current bundle. The exact output format and destination mapping depend on the connected service and action; verify those fields in the live module rather than assuming the result is a file, URL, or particular image format.
If a later step needs all results as one collection, use Make’s Array Aggregator. Select any values from intermediate steps that later modules will need in the aggregator’s aggregated fields: values not included there may not be available downstream. See Make’s Aggregator documentation.
6. Test, save, and activate
- Run the scenario once with a small list and inspect the Iterator bundles.
- Confirm that the screenshot module receives one URL per bundle and that the destination receives the intended result.
- Check the handling of a blank URL, a duplicate, and a page that fails to load if those cases matter to your workflow.
- Save the scenario and activate it to enable the recurring schedule.
Choose a URL source and capture route
Use the GetScreenshot Make app
A native Make app is the direct option when you want the documented webpage or element screenshot actions. It requires the vendor account and API key for the connection. Check the vendor’s current documentation for service-specific output details, limits, and charges; the Make materials do not establish those terms.

Use Make’s HTTP app with another capture API
If your chosen capture provider has no Make integration, Make documents HTTP as a way to connect to services through API requests. The provider determines the endpoint, authentication, request parameters, response format, rate limits, and charges. Store credentials using the HTTP app’s secure credential facilities rather than exposing an API key in a URL or a publicly shared scenario.
Make’s HTTP app documentation describes API requests and built-in pagination support. Pagination is useful when the URL list comes from a paginated API; it is unnecessary for a short, fixed array. Make also explains using HTTP when a native integration is unavailable in Connect an application.
Schedule frequency, operations, and limits
More frequent scenario starts can increase Make usage, and processing more URLs adds downstream module work. Make’s onboarding guide gives illustrative trigger-only calculations: every five minutes is 288 credits per day and 8,640 operations per month; every hour is 24 credits per day and 720 operations per month; once daily is 30 credits per month. The guide does not state a year for these examples. They describe the trigger module only, not the total consumption of a scenario that reads URLs, captures pages, and stores results. Troubleshooting
The Iterator or screenshot module has no URL field to map
Run the upstream source or parser once so Make can learn its output structure. Then reopen the mapping panel and select the URL item exposed by the Iterator. Make documents this schema-learning step in its Iterator guidance.
Only one page is captured
Check that the input really is an array of URLs, that the Iterator’s Array field maps to that array, and that the capture module is placed after the Iterator. Mapping the entire array directly into a single capture action does not create one capture per item.
The scheduled scenario does not run
Confirm the scenario is active and has a saved schedule. An inactive scenario is for manual execution, not recurring runs. If you chose on-demand scheduling, trigger it with an API call or manual run rather than waiting for a recurring time.

Open the Array Aggregator settings and include the fields required by downstream modules. Make warns that intermediate bundle values not selected as aggregated fields are not available after aggregation.

An API returns only some URLs
If the source is a paginated API, configure pagination in Make’s HTTP app or otherwise ensure the source returns all required records. A fixed, local URL array does not need pagination.
Captures fail or cost more than expected
Separate Make scenario usage from the screenshot provider’s billing and limits. Inspect the failed module output, confirm the URL and credentials, and check the provider’s current documentation for load failures, quotas, and billing rules. The cited Make guidance does not establish another provider’s capture reliability or price.
